Great point that Jeannie made. I’ve struggled with drug use and my family pushed me to get help but I still ended up in the same positions until I decided MYSELF that I wanted a different life. Sometimes you have to fall hard in order to look at things in an objective perspective.

That’s awesome. I have a family member dealing with addiction. I can’t just act like it’s fine, so my only options are to keep trying to get them to get help and have them get angry at me and feel like I am pushing them, or just ignore them and have them mad at me for that. Do you have an opinion on which is better?

I agree with Adrienne. Unless it’s a choice that I feel I need to intervene because someone’s safety is in jeopardy, I’ll let them see the decisions they are making are not good ones.

So sad tam is leaving the show but SISTER SISTER WILL BE ON NETFLIX SEPTEMBER 1ST 😊

It's only best to give advice to loved ones when *THEY ASK YOU FOR ADVICE* think about it this way. You wouldn't take advice from someone when you never asked. Giving advice or solutions doesn't do much for a person until they feel like they're willing to change, and sometimes you don't have to try to fix it but just a good listener

My mother lives in adult community; community bus transport shopping, doctors apartments. Each buildings has informal dinning area, kitchen, gym, movie threater and Ballard. Form friends have the same interests; bingo, board games. Family can have small parties. Loni, smart move for your mom. They meet new people.

Opposite with my husband, I give him his space in the bathroom but baby when I’m in there he wanna come in brush his teeth, talk, brush his hair, change his clothes my gosh

Adrienne wants to come off as if she’s always minding her business but actually these girls chats have shown she’s the most judgmental and nosy. She spent this entire segment judging everything..

I try to hide in the bathroom alot but yeah my kids bust in there anyway.🤣 Now i call my bathroom breaks a potty party bc both of my kids, both cats and my dog come in there so its always a party!!

If I were ever in that situation I'd wait for them to ask me for my advice about the situation and then politely tell them to ask someone else because their situation is none of my business.

I won’t get involved with someone even a family member if I know they are involved with drugs. I can be invested with that. I don’t want the stress, it sounds harsh but unless you have someone in your life that’s struggling with drugs you will never know the stress of worrying about them

Unless someone has that rock bottom where they know and want and are tired of going round in circles a lot of times you can't do alot

I’m like this with my sister she always picks the wrong guys and the one she is with fires off first thing in the morning and comes home late at night I’ve tried to tell her he isnt good for her but it just causes us to argue
