Giraud Power Trimmer so awesome it might be time to sell crack or rob a bank just saying
Ойын-сауық
This is a quick video going over the Giraud power trimmer for case prep reloading rifle cases. Once you use one of these and you figure out how much time you’re saving it’s worth its weight in gold.

Thanks, you also Joaquin
Thank You Sir! Super convenient! 👍🇺🇸
Totally agree! I did a few of my first cases with the Hornady lathe type and had enough after like 6 cases. Went looking for better options. I decided to go with the Henderson (it may have been the red, black and red always gets me, lol) but I think either Giraud or Henderson are the best options. I just ordered an AMP with the AmpMate and going to get that set up. Trying to automate or expedite as many of the tedious processes as possible!! I knew I was wanting to get into PRS type shooting this year, so I figured just go all out on those 2 items. Now I'm still trying to settle on caliber and factory rifle or custom/semi-custom build. Pretty sure I'm going 6mm. Keep looking at the 6CM, but 6 Dasher and 6GT on the list as well. Thinking for 1st rifle build, the 6CM may be my best option. I figure any of those will work plenty well for me for a while. Glad you are enjoying this great tool and it's saving you some time!! That is the best part of high end tools, saving time while retaining precision!! Have a great week!!!

Yep blame it on me
That was a bold ass statement. But I see after the video , if your looking for speed and ease it’s worth every penny
I can not get consistent COAL lengths with this trimmer. I assume the length from the shoulder to the case mouth is consistent, so I assume the length from the base to the shoulder datum is different for each case even though it is going thru the same full length resized die. Any help would be appreciated
I still trim using a drill so trust me I can see the time savings even though the cost is high would definitely pay for itself quickly

@@IY6CThat may be the way to go. Have a great day Rick. Cheers 🍻 🍻
Stupid question as i shoot nothing but factory ammo, how do you know how much to trim off the neck for every caliber?

Hugo. They are different by caliber. Reloading books tell you what the length should be. But after you shoot it a time or two is does grow.
The Giraud trimmer is probably the best money I've spent on a piece of reloading equipment. After my press, of course.

I think that or the A&D scale with new trickler are my biggest time savers

If you can save up for that tricker that’s where the time is saved.
