I’ve taken piano lessons for as long as I can remember and I played this song for my very last piano recital around 18 yrs old a year after my father passed. When I play it, to this day almost 10 years later, it makes me feel connected to him and I can just feel how proud he is of me. This song is so special to me ♥️

I love hearing him breathe at start of the song, touching in so many ways. How can someone you have never met bring emotions and feeling you have never felt until you hear him play. I sit in the tenth floor of my life listening to this, and that? is good. I fall back in my chair on a busy day or a hard day to get in touch, not to loose sight in what matters. Wonderful.

Wonderful .... amazing .... magical .... fantastic .... sublime .... there aren't words in any known language to properly describe the art of this musician. You can just listen ... and rejoice!!! Thanks to Ludovico and a hug to all his devoted fans.

Have to think about my horse, Falada, which died very young. She was only eight years old when the stabled catched fire. I`ll always remember how she lied in my arms and neighered last time. On the one hand in pain and shock but on the other hand she also new I`d always protect her and she`d never be on her own. It`s wonderful to be able to know that but it`s also wonderful to know that a friend trusts you so much, even in his death. This is more to give than I could ever give her back. And I`ll always be thanksful about this, Falada, Honey, I`ll never forget you. IL

Eden Roc brought me here. I recall hearing this being played on the radio when I was doing some work at a clients office way way back in time and I stood still to hear it - totally froze. Fortunately the radio said the name and I went and purchased the album.

Такая замечательная душевная музыка. Очень люблю этого исполнителя. Открыла его для себя сравнительно недавно, слушаю в машине и просто, когда хочется восполнить энергию. Просто необыкновенно хорошо!

Einaudi rende la solitudine una necessità: un piacevole viaggio mano nella mano con l'Autore mentre mostra tutte le componenti dei suoi brani in un paesaggio di emozioni dove le pause diventano respiri trattenuti per poi riprendere fiato un po' per volta gustando ogni nota fino all'inesorabile finale. Straziante e nostalgico, eppure così confortante da calmare l'animo.

Grazie per aver dato un nome a ciò che sento quando lo ascolto. Spesso per me, soprattutto quando lo ascolto, la solitudine è proprio una necessità e anche se, spesso ci provo, vorrei far conocere la musica meravigliosa di questo Uomo geniale, mi rendo conto che non sempre gli altri possono apprezzarla. Solo nei commenti dei suoi brani riesco a trovare la sintonia con altre persone che lo apprezzano.

Guess I'm late but I do have rest of my lifetime to listen to Einaudi

Technically it is a percussion instrument. It has strings, clearly, but they are struck rather than bowed and that makes a huge difference to the timbre.
