The music is so awesome I bet my great..great..great... grandchildren will be rocking in 3000AD.
My mom’s cousin - my distant uncle owned this LP back in 1977-78 ! I borrowed it so much from him to play it on my new record player that he finally gave it to me 😊 In 2016 I used to play this on my iPhone while commuting between NJ & NY - memories spanning so many decades - I am writing this in 2024 😱

I was a 6 year old from down South India when I listened to this song in a Dolphinor Vinyl LP player with two BIG Stereo Speaker boxes way back in 1978 and after that I should have listened to this a million times. Way ahead of the time and kudos to that unforgotten obscure person who had purchased this Vinyl and allowed me into the world of Giorgio Moroder.

Hoje 47 anos passados é ainda o meu preferido.
I've heard mixes and extensions to this track and none of them ever even come close to the original, Giovanni Giorgio is a master of synth music and I hope future generations will love his music just like I grew to love it despite not even being around when this work of absolute art was released.

The song that began the end of Disco, the decline of Rock and the total change of Classic Pop & Funk. Starting from Concrete EDM (since 1977) by Giorgio Moroder and its 2 root and primary genres NRG & Synthpop (1st Generation) there is the most sophisticated and revolutionary evolution in the history and development of Electronic Music that together with Electronica ( Post Concreta, Moog, Experimental & Soundtrack) developed until 1977 and its fusion with EDM provides the definitive and total basis for the fundamental branching of EDM of the 80s (2nd Generation / Branching): House, Techno, Synthpop, NRG, Freestyle, Italo, New Beat, Trance, Acid, Electro, Eurobeat...including the primary electronic base of the "ebm" and the most sophisticated of the Electro Industrial, something that the Progressive Rock, Noise Dusseldorft & Krautrock of Conny Plank's boys (Kraftwerk). I wanted to do an album with the sound of the '50s, the sound of the '60s, of the '70s and then have a sound of the future, and y said: "Wait a second...i know the synthesizer, why don't I use the synthesizer which is the sound of the future?", i didn't have any idea what to do, but I knew I needed a click, so I put the click on track 24 synced to Synthesizer Moog Modular. "I knew it could be the sound of the future, but I didn't realize the impact it would have." My name is Giovanni Giorgio, but everybody calls me...the father, founder and pioneer of EDM and the Modern Electrónic / The Sound Of The Future.

If Giorgio Moroder lived in the 18th century he would have been up there in the ranks of Mozart. He was a true musical genius of his day
