Gion Matsuri: The Hokaboko Float’s Journey
July in Kyoto is completely dominated by the Gion Festival, one of the most famous festivals in all Japan. Occurring first in 869 and an annual event since 970, the Gion Matsuri has a lot of history to draw from and includes a variety of rituals and entertainment. The popular stars of the festival though, are the 33 floats built and maintained by local neighborhoods in central Kyoto that appear in the grand Yamaboko Junkō parades. Each float has distinct décor, history, and traditions woven in to the larger Gion Festival framework. One float neighborhood was kind enough to let us inside their headquarters to observe some of their activities and track the float through its time in the parade. Gion Matsuri is a great time to visit kyoto. I was lucky enough to be living in Kawaramachi for the 2019 festival so was able to enjoy each day of the Matsuri.... and probably eating too much during the Yoiyama evenings
I've always seen this when I go to Japan because my mom is from Kyoto and it's very beautiful but I've never actually seen it happen so I've always been to the Festival or the Matsuri instead and there are always the Gion Matsuri song/music and there are always food stands with lots of Matsuri food

Esto tiene mezcla de la historia humana El que se enrrolla la cuerda después de estirar el carro lo Ace por qué es el premio por estira en carro El carro de estira con esa cuerda para que después se la quede el que estira y de recompensa se parezca a un dios del kabuki caminado por las calles !! Por eso decía enrrolla en el cuerpo !! El gorro rojo tipo boina España simular dictadores tipos sadan husein por si kuroku!! boina roja líder del desierto !! Todo eso solo yo sé cómo funciona claro como siempre

It is known that ancient cars attracted by a large number of people at the Kyoto Gion Festival parade are adorned with carpets designing Old Testament episodes.
Guess what, those tapestries that are using as a curtain for the main giant carriage was from Korea in 18th century :) They were imported to Japan from the Korean delegation who visited Japan.

Ese que coge la cuerda es al revés del Vicente del viana que no encontró el cable eléctrico en Palamós por tonto !!! Para ver a Furukawa enrrollandose la cuerda as de ver lo contrario en Palamós y lo contrario en Colombia Y as de ver un mecánico en Colombia con mejor resultado y más espabilado que el de España con falta de medios pero más coraje o talento Por eso fui a colombia para ver mecanicos pobres subirse a una moto y cargados con erramientas sin medios!! Sin furgoneta Para entender esto a de ver un mecánico industrial sin medios con una motocicleta de moto taxi No sirbe ver un mecánico oficial con buena camioneta ! Por eso tuve amigo parecido a Furukawa !!
