Often I see people use Isaiah 9:6 "The everlasting Father" to say that Jesus is the Father but that's not what Isaiah was saying, if you look at Isaiah 8:18 and Hebrews 2:13 "Behold, I and the children whom/which the LORD/God hath given me" this is Jesus talking as you see in Hebrews 2:9-12, Isaiah 53:10 says "he shall see his seed," talking about Jesus, 1 Corinthians 15:21,22 we see that death came by one man, and resurrection of the dead by another, in Adam we all die but in Christ we're made alive, so Adam is our natural Father and Jesus is our spiritual Father as he doesn't have natural seed but he's not the Father, because remember in the first part of Isaiah 9:6 it says "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given:" the Son was given by the Father John 3:16

@@Wisdoms_Inheritance Good try, but no. Is 9:6 means Jesus is the one everlasting Father (see also John 14:9), otherwise your interpretation of that passage would make us have 2 Fathers. We are children of the Father in the same way that Christ as a man is. That's what John 1:12-13 tells us (see also Matt 12:48-49, Matt 28:10, John 20:17, Heb 2:17). We have inherited and share his sonship and are sons of God with the man Christ Jesus. Christ is our elder brother and kinsmen redeemer. In terms of incarnate Christ as a human being, the Bible acceptably teaches he is husband to the body 2 Cor 11:2, Rev 21:9. He is our Lord and master Matt 23:8-10. He is out high priest, king and mediator Heb 6:20, Rev 17:14, 1Tim 2:5. In terms of his humanity, Christ is many things but NOT our father.

@@terryjones1718 Isaiah :9:6 is speaking about his name , the name that Jesus have is his father’s name , but it’s said a unto us a(son) is given and his name shall be (called) , the book of Isaiah is a book of prophecy, so that scripture was prophecy to be fulfilled and it’s already fulfilled in the New Testament, but if you read the whole New Testament you cannot find one scripture where that prophecy is fulfilled where anyone calling or referring to Jesus Christ as the everlasting father, and that’s because that scripture is dealing with the name the he has is his fathers name the highest authority, so don’t misinterpret the scriptures pay close attention to what is saying, Jesus Christ is not the father his is the son of the father , and he is our lord and master , but he is still God son , and that’s is plainly stated in a lot of scripture in the New Testament, Jenno teaching about this is anti-Christ,

"the everlasting Father" is just one of those NAMES he's called but it's not who he is, But Let's keep going, John 14:9 - you can't see the father, as he's a spirit John 4:24, what Jesus is speaking of is the works the Father does through him, that's how he shows us the Father, read versus 10&11, he would've just said I am the Father if he was the Father Yes we are the children of the father, but to say that Jesus is the Father is to misrepresent scripture, let's see why John 20:17 Jesus says he ascends unto his Father, now if he is the Father why not just say I ascend into heaven But he's the Son of God First he was in the form of God and was equal with God Philippians 2:6, then he was made in the likeness of men and became obedient unto death verses 6&7 He had to do this in order to overcome the world, you can't overcome anything you're not affected by, and in the form of God, he wouldn't have been affected by sin, it was Jesus spirit that was in the body that God prepared for him Hebrews 10:5, how do I know this? Did you know that when Jesus Christ was on earth, He was also in heaven at the same time? John 3:13 (KJV) And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. Listen to the language of scripture... ..., even the son of man which "IS" in heaven. He didn't say "was" in heaven... Notice He said this while on earth. So there... It's a mystery 😊

Just maintain your relationship with Him and He will show you. And for what it's worth, when we get to heaven, we are not going to meet God the father in the middle, Jesus sitting on His right hand and the holy spirit probably on His left. 😅 We are only going to see the one and only true Living God and His name is Jesus Christ. Read 1 Timothy 4:16 and Galatians 1:8. Jesus is the Son of God, not the Father. If Jesus is the Father why must He go up to the Father if He’s the Father (John 16:7). If Jesus is the Father why does He say me and my Father, “we” will make our abode in a person who abides in Him(John 14:23)? Is Jesus two persons at the same time? No. He’s the Son and there’s the Father who is God and obviously the Spirit of God whom the Father sends in Jesus name (John 14:26) Doctrine is important, if you don’t think it matters then there’s a problem. Jesus being the Son or being the Father. One of them is the wrong Jesus you’re serving. The wrong Jesus is Jesus being the Father. That’s just not true and not in the scriptures. So you can’t say I love Jesus and not love His doctrine also.

It does say God SENT his only begotten Son. It also says God called His Son God!:But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. Heb. 1:8 But it NEVER EVER one time says the Son is His own Father.

See, this is where the issue lies. Depends on which version of the bible you're reading. Tree of life version says it in Matthew 24:36. King James Version does not say it exactly the way he said. The complete jewish bible also says it the same way as the tree of life version does Matthew 24:36. I know most people only read the KJV, because the world says this is the most accurate bible.

Wouldn't no man include the people of YAH already? I'm just pointing out the fact that different versions say didn't things, and one may interpret a verse differently than someone else. You have to read the bible for yourself and ask YAH for understanding. Even Jesus disciples didn't understand some of the parables that he was teaching to them according to the bible. Adam did not become flesh, he was created in God's image (spirit) and in God likeness (attributes)! Adam was later FORMED from the dust of the ground, and thus was LIMITED (bound) to the earth! Our bodies comprise our “umbilical" cords to the earth, even as our natural umbilical cords bound and fed us in our mother’s womb. The “Word" of God is SPIRIT, is bound to God, and is very God: it cannot be separated from God. The Word was SENT from God through the angel; and when the angel SPOKE the Word, a son was conceived in the ovum of Mary. Basically, the Word was DRESSED UPON by flesh, just as man (we) are dressed upon by an earthly body! “For we know that if our earthly house of this TABERNACLE were dissolved, we have a building of God, a house not made with hands (will of man), eternal in the heavens.” Brother Villa.

So when he prayed to the father and asked “why have you forsaken me” he was praying to himself? 👀

@@Apostle-Thomas you will not get any answer. What is interesting is the assumption that when God said "let us make man in our own image" He was talking to the Son and Holy Spirit. The verse following that is clear, it does not say "and They created man in Their own image" and if that does give one any hint then we will not help. After God suggested the creation of man to His "sons", He proceeds to form this man alone and breathed His breath of life into the nostrils of this creation. Nowhere else in the Bible does God refer to Himself as "us" as in the beginning when He suggested the creation of man. It is simple grammar but for some reason someone somewhere distorted this information and the same distortion has been passed from generation to generation without ever questioning why the simple grammar was ignored. In other books we see God with His sons and God would engage them. Another claim is that angels are not made in the image of God.... well Abraham had an encounter with three men when he wad informed he will have a son... the two where angels and the third one wad God Himself! The two men were like any other people but Abraham had the spirit to discern that they were heavenly beings, although their images were that of man! More importantly is the knowledge of who was created first between angels and man! If angels were created before Adam, then God was surely speaking to His heavenly beings! Imagine us being created in the image of a three-way God but we are not three-way; only a weak god can have two other independent beings assisting him to be god, but my God is the source of all power and doesnot need to have two assistant assisting Him to be God! He is all in all unto Himself! He reigned in heaven while on earth as He is omnipresent! He is the Father of all that exists and Jesus is His name that He has chosen to be called with!

John 1 describes His dwellings amongst men very well! Today people are still interpreting "God is with us" as if it is just a name but the name was actually literal!

Because if you read the very first verse of that particular verse of Holy Scripture, it clearly let's you know that it can't possibly be talking about God the Father. It's Only talking about the Son of God, which is Jesus Christ. For it reads, unto Us, a child is born. Now let's start right there. It clearly said a ("child") is ("born"). God the Father was Never a Child, & neither was God the Father ever been born. But the Son of God Jesus Christ was. According to Matthew 1:1-18-25. More disturbing is this debate is void of “brotherly love.” These two men are saturated in prideful arrogance-yielding to their fallen intellects. That’s not God. And how do you know if it’s God or not? Ask yourself: “Who is the winner of this debate?”

First thing Jesus said He goes to the Father, which shows Jesus cannot be the father when he is saying he is going to where the Father is. They are not in the same place. Secondly, Jesus indicates that He has a Father when He said himself "My Father" Jesus said my Father, which indicates that He Jesus has a Father, not that he is the Father. Third, JESUS said, MY FATHER IS GREATER THAN I Jesus is saying the Father is greater than he is, indicating he is not the Father, and showing there is one greater than himself. Yes, he is! Yesterday is a time frame, as is today and forever. So the son [of God] is shown to have a beginning, and an ENDING: but is only mentioned in the OLD TESTAMENT as a prophesy! Jesus is prophesied to have no ending because the Church AS SONS will be there! To understand this, you've got to understand what the purpose of Christ's body was and what a body is with its limitations, then you've got to understand that Jesus was an example for us. God came in the flesh and made an example of how we should live, him too was limited in the flesh, him too had to cleave to the spirit, him too had to pray and depended on the Holy spirit. This is one God with many operations, working all in all, able to be on earth and still be in heaven and still sustaining all creation at the same time, able to make the sun shine in one country and in another rain, snow, nighttime and morning in another ! He is God, He hangs the earth on nothing , who can search him ? If we understood God then that means our intellect is as high as his but the Bible says as high as the heaven is from the earth so are his ways and thoughts Higher than ours. He is higher than heaven, deeper than hell and wider than the sea. We will never be able to understand God except what's given to us by him

Do you understand how the Biblical Hebrew concept of the word "name" is much much deeper than the English concept of one's individual personal moniker?? You know how a family can carry "a name" or a "reputation" but not nessasarily all have the same moniker/s? Name can mean power, authority,or reputation like a "royal" family. And when they had set them in the midst, they asked, BY WHAT POWER, OR BY WHAT NAME, HAVE YE DONE THIS? Acts 4:7 Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called THEIR name Adam , in the day when they were created. Lord Jesus is the beloved son of God who died for our sins on the cross and rose from the grave, ascended back to the father, Jehovah is God the father, Almighty God. When our Lord Jesus was on the cross He said "Father forgive them for they do not know what they are doing."

But what evidence is there that Jesus isn’t the Father or the Spirit? The short answer is that Modalism contradicts Biblical passages in which Father, Son, and Spirit are depicted as separate persons. If Oneness doctrine is biblically true, why then do the biblical authors use grammatical features that personally distinguish between the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit? Example, I. First and third person personal pronouns: Throughout chapter 14, Jesus clearly differentiates Himself from the Father by using first person personal pronouns (“I,” “Me,” “Mine”) to refer to Himself and third person personal pronouns (“He,” “Him,” “His”) to refer to His Father (e.g., John 14:7, 10, 16). This case of marked distinction is also evident when Jesus differentiates Himself from God the Holy Spirit: “I will ask the Father, and He will give you another [allon]3 Helper, that He may be with you forever” (John 14:16; also see 14:7, 10, 26).

@@richardtimbreza9457 Isaiah :9:6 is speaking about his name , the name that Jesus have is his father’s name , but it’s said a unto us a(son) is given and his name shall be (called) , the book of Isaiah is a book of prophecy, so that scripture was prophecy to be fulfilled and it’s already fulfilled in the New Testament, but if you read the whole New Testament you cannot find one scripture where that prophecy is fulfilled where anyone calling or referring to Jesus Christ as the everlasting father, and that’s because that scripture is dealing with the name the he has is his fathers name the highest authority, so don’t misinterpret the scriptures pay close attention to what is saying, Jesus Christ is not the father his is the son of the father , and he is our lord and master , but he is still God son , and that’s is plainly stated in a lot of scripture in the New Testament, Jenno teaching about this is anti-Christ,

The latter 2 get instructions from God. Everything I'm saying is in scripture. There's no where in scripture that Jesus called himself God or claimed to be God. However, you can find many scriptures where Jesus speaks about his father (God) and submits to God.

God Almighty used Jesus Christ the Son as a living sacrifice to save us all humans on earth from our sins... I didn't read nowhere in the bible that God sent himself on earth to save us from our sins....God was working through the flesh of His only begotten Son .. and why would God Himself pray to Himself while on the cross...and during the time He was about to go through His tribulation with the pharisees guards and roman government at that time. ? Before the Prophets there was the Law. All the scriptures are founded on the LAW & the PROPHET The Prophet Isaiah according to 9:6 and HIS name shall be called WONDERFUL, COUNSELLOR, THE MIGHTY GOD, THE EVERLASTING FATHER, THE PRINCE OF PEACE. Everlasting, means ETERNAL. Only one can make that claim. Jesus said call no man father upon the earth Matthew 23:9 for ONE Is your Father which is in heaven. But before he took on flesh The Prophet Isaiah introduced him as A child who had to be born to speak on The behalf of humanity because it was the only solution to redeem man back on God. The word Son always refers to the Incarnation and never to deity apart from humanity. Pastor Jennings did say Jesus is the Father, but only as it pertains to the ETERNAL SPIRIT or as the scripture might say: Colossians 1:15 Jesus is the image of the invisible God Verse 16 says for by HIM All things were created that are in Heaven and that are in earth. Visible and Invisible. Why else would Jesus teach men to pray to the Father? Because he is the invisible God Not made known to man except in the Person of Jesus. When Moses asked to see God’s glory, God replied, No one can see my face and live. This is the same glory Jesus is speaking of in the Gospels. But God said, He would be gracious to whom he would be gracious And show mercy to whom he will mercy. Then Jesus confirm this when he says: John 6:46 not that any man has seen the Father, except he which is of GOD, HE HAS SEEN THE FATHER. Moses on the other hand, only got to see a glimpse of God’s hinder parts as he protected Moses from seeing his face. I’m praying 🙏🏾 other would catch this Powerful Revelation God has shown to His people. Pastor Jennings is as genuine as they come. He is 💯 on There is only one God, and He’s Jesus. He’ll be the only one we will see manifest in his true form as he was On Earth. The scriptures says: EVERY 👁️ shall see Him, even those who pierced his side.
