Gino is in my top 10 singer-songwriter-producer-performers of all time. His very original music is exciting, sensual, meticulously produced, percussion infused, melodically powerful, w/lyrics that are actually deep and meaningful at times as related to and born from his personal journey. IF you are not familiar w/Gino's music, check out the albums "Storm At Sunup" and "Brother to Brother". And IMO his latest album "Wilderness Road" is his greatest accomplishment since the 70's. Can' t get enough of Gino's musical adventures + explorations. His band is outstanding too!! Hey Gino...Please play NYC much more often!!

I was singing professionally before the age of 5. My parents had jam sessions from the opry every night for most of my young life. I thought everybody was a musician at home.; They just didn't sing in front of people. Lol. Now there are no musicians within a fifty mile radius. Sorry, just me.lol

If Gino hadn't connected with the guard, prior to running after Herb Albert. I don't think things would have turned out the way they did. Why didn't I do that in LEIU of capital records-couch, Motown , (who, 1976-1981 not listening to me sing ,said,""no White's) and then putting up with Billy Barty on my lap, slapping those little hands every second to get them out of my uno while in a golf cart driven by Moray Amsterdam ! Everybody who was anybody was golfing that day and many didn't know how to play Golf. Kris Kristofferson was always practicing for his next role, his wife, Rita Coolidge so embarrassed, hell, I was embarrassed for her! Oh, Bette Midler's advice to me..."whata they gonna do call the cops on ya!? Yep, the good ole days...and Kris never could sing...he knew that. But, always working the crap jobs, 7 nights a week, never gave me time to see anyone in concert, and I would have loved to hear Gino sing in person. I now live in a city where music doesn't exist...go figure.
