I agree but it's TV you know. As much as I love Gino, you have to put some of the blame on him too. Hear me out. Gino wasn't really that well known in the US. Most people only remember him for "I Just Wanna Stop" They didn't even remember 'LIving Inside Myself" even though that was also a hit, sadly. I've tested this on friends, family and colleagues. Mention Gino and the first thing they say "I Just Want To Stop" and they know no other songs smh. So unfortunately he was seen to most Americans as a one hit wonder. :( I partly blame Gino for that because he made the big mistake of not touring in America in the 80s. "Living Inside Myself" was a hit here, why no freaking tour? I do remember an HBO special from that time though. Or was it WHT? Anyway "Black Cars", "Hurts To Be In Love" would have have been bigger hits if Gino toured here and did the talk show rounds. Carson, Letterman etc. But he didn't. Big mistake. "Wild Horses" also would have been big here too. Again he didn't tour. See where I'm getting that. Arsenio would have treated him with greater respect had he been known for more than one or two songs here

Incredible that nobody asks why Gino didn't sing on "we are the world"? Or with Quincy Jones, Sting and Pavarotti?

When,Mr.Gino is not under stress,he has a very unique honest, romantic voice; specifically with love ballads.

Well, for one thing, Sting is a turd. Gino has a very interesting anecdote about meeting Sting that doesn't paint him in the best light. He was an arrogant @hole even to his bandmates.

Sounds better live than the record.
Arsenio was an idiot, didn't even know the most basic thing about Gino,(drummer), and thought he was better just cause he had a talk show. You got your come upkins Arsenio, now no one knows who the hell you were/are, but we still love respect, admire, adore, and go to the concerts of Gino.

Ok, already! Arsenio ended his show to focus on being a Father. Maybe research is something that would also benefit you when speaking about something you clearly aren't informed enough to speak on.
Um 😐 😐 😐 😐 I just want to stop...cut the commercials, will you! This was 6 months before my near-fatal auto accident! I saw him on Arsenio’s show!!!

I was so in love (or maybe in lust, lol) with Gino! Quanto ti amavo!
That was nothing but insulting. And especially in lieu of the fact that the other 'stars' were nobodies, including Arsenio Hall.

you're joking right? Arsenio was bigger than Johnny or Dave at this time
Caramba 😂faltava 1 dia pra eu nascer kkkkk
At 0:53, Gino playing percussion
I think Gino started as a drummer
Is that Joe Vannelli playing keys at the back wall?
Dear Lord!!! What does it means??? That the "star" is Arsenio??? Gino don't you ever do that again!!!😣
Ya how many were really hip to Gino….probably half of the people who clapped 🤔🤔

Yep. And he still has it in 2020.
Total butchering of Gino's performance and I have to ask, HTF did AH ever get a show? I'd almost forgotten how much he sucked.

Because of the diversity and inclusion bullshit. He may have been a funny man, but as a host of this show, he stunk

Aresenio was a jack-ass who got lucky. His meal ticket was knowing Eddie Murphy
I agree with Elaine.....but not just unsettling, it’s horrible. It’s the worst Gino I ever saw. With all his magnificent compositions, and performances over the years, why not just listen to his complete originals, or his performances? KZread advertised this to us today....they are crazy. They do not get it. I could listen to the live performance in LA of “If I Should Lose This Love,” 100 times, but I will never watch this again.

That was one of the most idiotic comments I’ve ever read on You Tube! GTFOH!
I don't know, most of Arsenio's jokes were awkward and fell flat.
I don't know what it is. But it is the second time I see this singer Gino wear pants that shows his 'stuff.' 😅 The first time I saw him was on Soul Train and it was the same way. It doesnt look decent. He needs something to hold him in. Lol😅.

Made ya look, didn’t he?! LOL. Hey, if ya got it-and he did-flaunt it. He’s incredible in every way.
Gino lowered his standards to be on that show, Arsenio didn't even know he started out as a drummer, obviously hadn't done any research or homework on him at all. Arsenio got what his big ego deserved, no show, and forgotten about. But Gino? still odored, making music and touring the WORLD!

Arsenio never bothered to do any research ... his most common question when "interviewing" someone started with, "didn't I read in People Magazine ..." Gino class enough to rise above it
Arsenio was the worst show, second only to chevy chase's hot mess. Gino, hell he owned the hour.
The worst I’ve ever heard Gino. Ugh! Still gorgeous though!
GINO is singing and THEY ARE ADVERTISING....... HOW RUDE!!!!!I 😮😮😮😮 I would HAVE "WALKED OFF" THAT CHEAP SHOW........
In the Arsenio Hall Show?
