Felix is acting the part of a 16 year old boy on the show but irl he’s 22 hence the difference.

It's just that Marcus in the beginning was such an annoying self centric character, but then we saw what he was going through and how sweet he actually is, THAT is a GREAT CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT.
