YUP LOL and they tried to show that sneaky link or hate love boyfriend or whatever? they had to make it seem like he was the one person to truly care about her & see her, find out something is deeply wrong going on with her like Ginny cutting herself, when he is part of the problem harming her mental health & lower self image with everything happening in her life with all his comments & behavior, I just hope they don't go in with trying to make him her savior whilst connecting to her, they just fuck to make her feel anything other than what's going on but he doesn't get to be that guy

I was so scared in that scene where Max pulled down the happy birthday garland and Abby turned around and looked at Ginny all mad and upset like I thought she was gonna cuss her out because she was the cause of all this happening or something but then she asked her if she wanted to skip class and smoke weed I was so relieved lmaoo edit: oh wait I think it wasn't the happy birthday garland scene, I think it was the one where she told her about Sophie and that guy at Blue Farm? Idk correct me if I'm wrong lol

I loved there rebel era when they got highlights and colored there hair it was like they didn't care about anything and. I love that

Ginny and Abby was one of the highlights of the season for me. Even though they got caught skipping, walking in the hallway together, I cheered for them.

Abby and Ginny are absolutely iconic The fact Ginny called Abby really pretty It was just really sweet of her cause I don’t think Abby’s ever been called that before and especially soon she has body dysmorphia those words are exactly what Abby needed to hear for so long 😭❤️

I hated the way Abby treated Ginny in season 1 but I loved seeing them getting close in season 2! And when she was the only one she called out of the group to tell her about her dad's new girlfriend it was so wholesome like, she literally despised her and she was so jealous of her because of how much Max liked her but now she's the one she feels the safest to to tell her about her family drama ugh Abby and Ginny supremacy!! 💖 edit: and the fact that she gave her a nickname too, it's so cute how she calls her ''Gin-Gin'' not even Max gave her a nickname!

I think it was jealousy in the first season…..she seemed a bit threatened by Ginny and how “popular” she became even though Ginny didn’t do anything besides move to the town.

in season 1 Abby came off as cold & had a mean streak but she grew on me in season 2. I didnt like how she threw Ginny under the bus when they got caught shoplifting and it seemed like she was jealous of her in season 1. But I’m glad they become a lot tighter in season 2

A lot of people think Abby only acted that way because she thought Ginny was trying to take Max away as a friend but if you watch the first season especially episode 1….Ginny looked uncomfortable around Max, and she also never forced herself into the friend group….Max put her in.

I didn’t like Abby season one but this season she’s one of my favorites. I hope we can get more of her story line in season 3. She’s a good friend! I also hope we get more Norah season 3. She’s a lead character too but we don’t know anything about her!

In season 1 Abby had a mean streak and it seemed like she was jealous of Ginny. Since Max was her 1st friend in town and she quickly invited her into their group and they became MANG. But in season 2 she grew on me and I like how her & Ginny became better friends. I agree that Norah should get a backstory in season 3 and to see what her home life is like. Seems like she may have abandonment issues with her being a people pleaser and a follower

I honestly think she had good character development in S1, in the later eps so I liked her from then lol

Abby is the most realistic teenager she says stuff that makes me roll my eyes like "ann is the most basic name ever" when her name is ABBY a super popular basic name lol (btw MY name is ABBY too so I can say that but) she always says stuff that is cringy or kind of judgemental but in a way that feels very realistic to teens today.

I love Ginny and Abby's relationship. It feels more authentic than her and Max because they had to work to like each other and the time they spend with each other isn't all about drama its about being together. Abby fits in seamlessly with Ginny and Marcus and Ginny makes sure to tell her shes beautiful when shes down on herself. Even their fights feel more authentic than any with Max. Who due to her dramatic personality ( which i love) often feels overscripted and fake.

i was so happy when they started to get along in season 2 i love them as a duo

I’ll admit in season 1 Abby wasn’t the nicest to Ginny but thinking about it it’s understandable her parents are going through a divorce and she feels that Ginny joining the group will make her lose her friends. I’m glad Abby realized that she is still loved by her friends and she ain’t going to be replaced ❤

Idk Ginny played the “dramatic” role pretty well since most teens are dramatic.

I love Abby I can relate to her so much but also want her as a friend.

(SPOIL WARNING) I can't believe that ending in season 2 episode 10, it was so good and just such a plot twist how Georgia Miller/ Ginnys mom was LITTERLY arrested on her wedding day! SHE WAS SO HAPPY and It broke my heart seeing Ginny and Marcus act like "friends" they are so cute together!

Rewatching this scene pack, and I agree with many here that s2 Abby and Ginny >> a good chunk of s1-s2 Max and Ginny.I thought the "you scare me" exchange between Ginny and Abby this recent season was a nice throwback to season 1, when Mama Georgia referred to Abs as "the scary redhead", despite Ginny still trying to defend/downplay Abby's actions after framing her for shoplifting and then bailing on her (accompanied by Norah), due to their own fear of Georgia. Fast forward to season 2, and she openly admits she's scared of her, yet - a second later - admits how pretty Abby is to her face. Even if the script had them write that off, I hope that's something that manifests into Abby's self-esteem in later seasons. I also liked the times that Ginny wanted to reach out to Abby and ask about her well-being, but was more hesitant to do so via text. Some people are more comfortable expressing their insecurities of life problems in person than over the phone, or not at all (because they've found an outlet to try and numb themselves from the pain). I still hope the show finds a way to allow one of -- or all - the other girls to learn about Abby's struggle with body image/ED and comforts her over it, rather than make her feel worse.

I hated the way Abby was to Ginny at the start, then how rude Ginny was to her in the later S1 eps, but their friendship was the highlight of S2 for me.
