Even in the canon timeline gine always seemed pure hearted compared to other Saiyan's i seen

If anything,(most)saiyans except the Vegeta inherits are all pure hearted. It’s just that the saiyans are a prideful race for the most part.

LOL No. Toriyama stated in an interview way back on bardock and gine that most saiyans were cold hearted and did not care about their comrades.

No, they slaughtered other planet’s inhabitants to sell it afterwards, they were not pure of heart, only gine probably.
Goku is just as much his mother's son as he is his father's because he has Bardock's fighting spirit and Gine's love and compassion.

@@malcolmxraw1342 It’s a fanfic called “A Mother’s Touch.” The basic premise of Gine going to Earth with Goku is the same. But upon reaching Frypan Mountain, it’s revealed Fasha also escaped to Earth and ended up being cared for by and forming a relationship with Ox King and having Chi Chi.
