GINATAANG LABONG (Bamboo Shoots) WITH SALUYOT LEAVES AND SHRIMPS
Ginataang Labong or Bamboo Shoots is a Filipino comfort dish made with thinly sliced young bamboo shoots (labong) cooked in coconut milk or gata. Saluyot leaves and young shrimps are added in this dish.
Ingredients:
400gms freshly sliced labong
1 cup coconut milk
1/2 cup coconut cream
1 medium onion
4 cloves garlic
a bunch of saluyot leaves
200gms small shrimps
1 tsp fine salt
1/2 tsp seasoning granules
2 pcs siling haba
