Thanks for the video! I loved Gilligan's Island as a kid and I think of it fondly compared with today's TV shows!
The beauty of television is these people will be forever young in the eyes of an audience that still watches these reruns and they will go on to live forever in our hearts
I loved this show from my childhood in the 60's.
My favourate show. I’d watch it after school. Miss them all🙏

That what my husband told me, he is rushing to come home from school just to watch Giligan Island.
Bob was born on January 9. 1935, making him 29 years old in 1964, not 25. RIP Little Buddy.
How funny as a child I always thought how is it that they can make a radio out of coconuts but can't built a boat to take them of the island. What a great show and kept my youth excited to see the next episode even though it was well before my time as a teen.
Jim Backus aka Mr.Magoo was a brilliant actor. Funny, yet always professional. All of the members of the ensemble were extremely talented and amazing people. This show was one of the best memories I have growing up. That and the Bugs Bunny/Road-Runner Show on Saturday mornings. So many memories of those iconic shows and how they had such an impact on our lives. RIP to all that have passed on. Thank you for allowing us to laugh with you, and enjoy your work. God Bless you all.

What's there to say? I grew up watching it from the time I was 6 to 9 years old. '64 >'67, during my wonder years,. The show, and the music that was playing in the background of the time defined the era. ✌☺
Mary Ann, Mary Ann, Mary Ann !
The most unrealistic part of this show was a millionaire having an older wife.
it's amazing to see tina out lived them all and is still in NY.
best show ever i miss every one on the show
I growed up watching this show every day when I get in from school and today in my 50’s I still watch it on me tv every Sunday afternoon ❤

It certainly was a fun and amusing series, but I would stop short, no well short, of calling it one of the best TV series of all time.

Best TV series? Don't know about that, but as a kid, I had a great time with the show. It was so funny. I love the car they made. It was hilarious. The nutty things the professor would make. 60s is what this show was about. A kid and this show. What a riot. So much fun.

One of my favorite shows as a kid. I also watched it on syndication in the 70s. Its sad to know they have all passed except Ginger and Co- Producer Lloyd Schwarz is still alive. Otherwise all have gone.
My favorite show when I was a kid ...they all lived long lives I wouldn't go as far as your title...

Great clean and well done show.
I loved that show
I watch the show as a kid growing up. I loved watching it… I think all the actors were my favorite… It’s very sad that they’ve all passed away except for ginger.

My favorite character is Ginger.

Bob Denver was 29 in 1964. Not 25
Wow the skipper looked way older than 43, I though he was in his 50s, I has the biggest crush on the professor..

I cannot believe that he passed away. Your "old" photo of Alan Hale Jr. is his father, Alan Hale Sr.
I've always wondered who was the funniest when the cameras were off. Since most of the cast are gone, we'll likely never know.
😢 No I didn’t know Dawn Wells passed already.

John Denver was on Andy Griffith a few times the same time Gillian’s island was being filmed he played the role of the guy that married the darlin daughter.

I saw Robert Osbourne Denver, Russell David Johnson. He live on Bainbridge Island, Washington
You know what's tragic is watching this clip from someone who has no clue what they are talking about
The title is misleading. Ginger or Tina Louis is STILL ALIVE so not all cast has died.
The older picture of the captain, is in fact his Father.

the 3 hour trip became an eternal resting place for the cast members (except for Tina Louise!) of GI!

They mentioned the guy who played the gorilla, so….. yes, Jim Lefebure
Also, TBS carried the show in reruns, after it aired in syndication.
Why do you say the cast died "tragically"? Also, at 1:44, that actor on the right is not Alan Hale, Jr. That is his father, Alan Hale, Sr. Also, some of the video clips of the show end with a character in mid-sentence.
On the episode when the hunter was hunting Gillgan, that being an episode of the final season, maybe they could have saved that one for the final episode of the series, where he really did have them rescued, and made it a special 1 or 2 hour episode, where the castaways came back to a huge heartwarming welcome home party, instead of the hunter lying to them, only to hunt Gillgan instead, then go back on his word to rescue them. The series instead ended abruptly, leaving many to wonder if maybe they did get rescued and if they missed that episode.

Yeah, that episode where the guy comes on the island wanting to hunt humans disturbed me as a kid, and who knows if that trigger phrase "hunting humans" didn't motivate James Huberty to do his thing in San Ysidro back in 1979 (or thereabouts). What normal writer would come up with this plot and what producer would put this out? Even as a kid, knowing full well that this was fiction, I was thinking about the implications of being stuck in that lawless situation and what strategies for survival I'd have to adopt. The overall direction of the show was positive in that they started out as strangers (almost rivals!) but ended up as the best of friends, and THAT would have been the best strategy for group dynamics in that situation, even society at large.
Another misleading thumbnail. Dude, do you know what they do to click baiters in prison?
