I think she is the only actress I've ever heard crediting and mentioning her nanny for her kids. And not just here, but she thanks her nanny in 1996/7 when she accepted an award for the X-FILES. Nice to acknowledge those that help in the background, do any other actresses publicly do that!

I think most women who have full time nannies at home pretend like they don't. they think that this makes them less of a mother to their children and they choose to pretend that they did it all on their own. and I live in a community where 90% of all families have maids, nannies and drivers at home, so I have seen plenty of examples, but this was the attitude of most of them

This is so cool, she's so honest. I love the outspoken element of her personality, it's something to be proud of. Be yourself, if people don't like it, tough!

I'm so grateful I got to grow up through my teen years having her as my favourite tv character while watching The X Files.

She is just amazing to look at. She doesn't need makeup. Natural beauty and gets better every year. I met her twice. She had no makeup and sparkling blue eyes.

Back in the old days you just looked like a beautiful doll (if I may say so) but now your face got character. You stayed natural despite your stardom. Well at least that's how you appear to me but you never know for sure with an actor. I love your humor and your ability to be self-critical. I better stop here before it becomes a love letter. :D

I think Gillian Anderson is beautiful. I watched her in "The Fall" with Jamie Dornan and she is such a brilliant actress. I also love her soft voice, nothing put on, just natural.😍👌🥰

I have seen Gillian only in the most exquisite european movie, House of Mirth, 2000, based on the American novel by Edith Wharton, New York 1907. She is as exquisite as the movie and a great actress, fitting easily into the 1907 era. I saw her briefly on one of the series but after that movie I wanted to preserve her in that beauty, of gorgeous clothes, hair, manners, elegance. And with one of the loveliest baroque concertoes by Alessandro Marcello. There is so much attention to detail, sceneries,etc. Each take of her is like a high quality portrait and can be savoured since this is not a rush movie, it is about excellence and enjoyment of beauty, visual and audio. it should have tons of awards. The other exquisite, favorite movie of mine is Anna Karenina with the so lovely Sophie Marceau. 1997. The best Anna Karenina of so many others.

I also like the info that she has shared on how she has endeavoured to GROW and improve herself. She is a dedicated humanitarian, working on MANY causes and charities. +Flazé Da She grew up in England and attained the accent. Moved back to America in her teens and was bullied for her accent so learned the American one. Now she switches between the accents dependent on which country she is in. :)

Yes, people who change their accents are just that. But people who speak natively in more than one dialiect are bi- or multi-dialectal. I'm not really sure why so many people are so sceptical or confused about this, it makes perfect sense to me.

My accent alternates between english and american depending on who i'm talking to. don't see why you're so skeptical??
