"Spirituality is for people who have been to hell and religion is for people scared to go to hell" most underrated quote EVER

I am discovering and going through the book right now and to my surprise (because I am already middle aged and didn't expect to discover anything so amazingly bright and helpful) I do find it very, very helpful. Thank you Ladies!
Expectations are resentments under construction. Don't harbour them - for yourself or others!

I absolutely disagree that theist religion is the answer. I want community completely free from religious groups because religious groups have never been a source of positivity for me. I can see what Gillian means about meditation and a more general non-theist awareness of self though. I want a kind of resilience free from having to convince myself to believe in a fictitious God.
Perfection DOESN'T exist, it's just another foolish human abstract concept. Try wabi sabi instead, the "perfection of imperfection" 🙏
Im bummed they bash religion a little bit. I love Jesus and I think God’s idea of women fits really well with what they’re trying to achieve. Man made it a mess.
Is Gillain Anderson mariam or impersonating her?
