Gillhams Fishery Thailand: February 2022 - The Honeymoon Session (GILLHAMS BIGGEST REDTAIL?)
Filmed in February 2022 this is our Honey Moon video filmed at the magnificent Gillhams Fishing Resort in Thailand. We caught some incredible fish along the way including Siamese Carp to 150lb Alligator Gar to 75lb and many other weird and wonderful species found in this magical lake including possibly Gillhams biggest Redtail Catfish.
We had an amazing time and we hope you enjoy the video.

Brilliant just came back a couple of weeks ago sat in the same bench and ate those crisps at chicken island had 5 Siamese and 2 100kg plus Mekong going back in 2024

Hi Laura thanks for watching, we went in February and the weather was perfect around 25 to 30oC but with a nice breeze. Absolutely incredible place and I recommend it highly!

@@lauraranson8088 The resort is a good size we did the Thai Cookery course when we were there but the spa was closed. Theres a nice pool area and the bar is normally open all day.

Hi Ben love the video it looks like you had a great time. I'm heading out there in May for the first time and was wondering if you had any advice on what to take. Is there anything you wished you brought for the trip?

@@bigeddz Hi thanks for watching! Most of the kit is provided just make sure you have 2 or 3 baiting needles scissors etc. A good strong catapult and plenty of Pva mesh. Take a pot of pop ups too! I got through nearly a whole pot of pink nutcracker 12mm pop ups in 10 days! Strong hooks are a must too Nash brute or XX Korda patterns with a thicker gauge. There's a few little bits in the shop you can buy if you forget anything. You will have an unbelievable time that is a fact. Thanks again for watching! Ben.
