While it doesn't look like it's doing much for face shaving, this 3d ball could probably be good for shaving the head. Honestly, this self-correcting razor seems ideal for my specific case

You made me decide to buy the Turbo 3D when I saw the 5:28 part. lol Thanks for the vid and I subscribed. Wanted to buy the Fusion but I read that its harder to rinse out the trapped hair in a 5 blade razor. BTW, does the shaving creams by Gillette really differs from one another in terms of effect? Thx!

@Damanali That’s awesome. I am so glad the review helped, thanks for giving me joy and inspiration. I have used them Gillette Pure cream, it definitely hits different. I ideally stick to soaps or gels.

@HamzasHappiness I have just been using the Mach 3 Turbo 3D and heated razor in rotation. I have started liking the Mach 3 Turbo for a mild shave again

The 3D is another gimmick by Gilette. I've tried it and it has no benefit over the normal Mach 3.

K Hayes I used the Gillette Fusion Proglide Sensitive gel for this one.

Long time go I had one of their mac3 with battery. It was made with aluminum or something and was so lightweight. I loved it. Now when I put new battery it doesn’t work. I wish I can get them. Do you know how I can get them.

I am not sure if they make those any more, you might have to hunt online. They do the power versions for fusion/proglide and skinguard now.

Still I can't decide which one should I buy. A normal mach or with 3D motion? Please help me decide.

Mach 3 handles don't work with skin guard, skin guard works with a fusion handle. Hope that helps

Yes. I don’t like it either. Feels cheap in the hand when it wiggles.

The travel cover doesn’t fit the 3d version. Which I was disappointed about because Gillette don’t tell you this. But yeah, it’s a good razor apart from that.

You are right, the handles are chunkier and longer, so definitely won't fit the travel case. I have grown fonder of the 3D handle overtime

Here in the U.S. Gillette stopped selling the Mach 3 Turbo cartridges. I think the cartridge was too good in that it lasted too long. IMO, the Mach 3 Turbo was the best cartridge Gillette ever made. I think Gillette should go back to offering the Mach 3 Turbo with the original product quality. Moreover, it would be great if Gillette offered the longer, thicker 3D razor (which I do like) in a non-3D (straight) format for those who prefer the straight-handled razor. I recently shaved with the Mach 3 Turbo 3D, and I had one of the smoothest shaves I ever experienced with a cartridge razor!

I own some new old stock Mach 3 Turbo cartridges that I bought in bulk when stores were clearancing them. While there are offers on auction sites and in brick and mortar discount retail stores of Mach 3 Turbo cartridge refills, to my knowledge, Gillette ceased manufacture of the wonderful Mach 3 Turbo product and now only offers the standard Mach 3 cartridges. Beware, many reviews of Mach 3 Turbo cartridges contain posts that question whether they are authentic, Gillette cartridges. I suspect there are many knock-offs out in the marketplace.

@@Pezzonovante916 Strange. Here in Australia they still sell the the Turbo 3D carts in super markets which are really the Mach 3 turbo carts rebranded. Hope they don’t stop selling them completely as that would be 100% a bad move.

One cannot find Mach 3 Turbo cartridges on U.S. store shelves, unless it is old stock in discount stores like T.J. Maxx.

@@allydz I mean the design of Turbo is better 3D lol I don’t know why but I think the 3D version has big and long handle and the razor head is too small.

It's such a shame that the Turbo 3D handle is so long and fat. If it were the same size and length as the Classic Mach 3, it would have been a perfect razor for me.

@joseph I thought the same and the 3D still weirdly feels nicer in the hand than the older turbo. Between the two, my hands always seem to reach out to the mach3 turbo 3D

3d is crapper than the original mach3. 3d just makes it slip and cut you. don't buy it guys
