Gil's Arena Reacts To Klay & PG Shaking Up NBA Free Agency

Спорт

They also examine the current state of Klay Thompson's Free Agency, debating if the Golden State Warriors did their superstar dirty by letting him reach free agency and discuss where they best fit for Klay is between the Los Angeles Lakers & Dallas Mavericks. Finally, the crew reacts to Bronny James heading to the Lakers to join his father LeBron James and break down how the father-son duo will mesh together on the same team before discussing LeBron's free agency and the rumors of the king potentially taking a pay cut to improve the Lakers roster. Forget that it's the NBA, I've been at my regular 9-5 ever since my son was born and I was able to now get him in the door after he finished school and that feeling meant the world so I can only imagine seeing my son make the NBA as I'm still playing 😢

And he was offended he was “lowballed” $48M/2yr so he left to take $50/3yr. So he took a worse offer when he didn’t want to leave because he was mad at the deal and took a lesser deal? wtf? Not just a business deal… they did it for notoriety, to say they drafted bronny who is lebrons son an have that bragging right to say they have the first father son duo in nba history… who’s given that right up ? Any nba team who had lebron would have done so. Lebron is soon to retire so him leaving is an understatement for we don’t know if they would even get another ring with the squad they have now. Lebron deserves this a who not to give him this opportunity than an organization like the lakers. They would have been crazy not to in my opinion.

Your telling us bronny didn’t want to be a great player ? Just below average. He prob did make it because of his dad but that’s ok. They will achieve something that will never happen again. He is going to have to live through people saying you’re not as good as your dad. If he really wanted to be different he would have went and done something else .

Gils argument about billionaires taking pay cuts is flawed because the owners aren't taking pay cut not because they don't want because it's a salary cap. If the players don't want to take pay cuts get rid of the salary cap.

This plus Lebron is a Billionaire, is a smart business man, and makes really good investments. 15 mil won't affect his finances, his family, or his legacy in any considerable way. Tom Brady also has crazy money and took a ton of pay cuts to contend for a Super Bowl. Now, the average player is a totally different story.

I keep hearing how much a “leader” Draymond is but all he do is get suspended, get technical fouls, and push away key contributions to the team while average a triple single. And do absolutely nothing when it’s just him when Steph and Clay was hurt. So when I hear the term “Glue Guy” that just mean they have to put a positive term to describe you because you do absolutely nothing!

I don't think Gil's people ever check these comments, but hey...wanted to give props to Gil (whom I normally disagree with). Last night Gil was nice enough to join a Bron Hating channel with a panel of guys who REALLY KNOW THEIR STUFF. The problem I saw was disorganization and they allowed one particular panelist to try to cut off Gil at every point and scream over any arguments/refutes Gil was trying to give. Whether I agree with the show panel over Gil or not is irrelevant. I thought it was AWESOME for Gil to give his time to the channel and thought he should have been treated with more respect. They EACH shut up when one another speaks, but suddenly when Gil came in, the moderator actually got up and left for awhile, and nobody else stepped up🤦🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️. I just wanted to say thanks to Gil, if nobody else has. I'm sure he had a million other things he coulda been doing, but opted to help their channel and they completely disrespected him. But thanks Gil, that was a solid move to do for strangers. Especially going in knowing you are out numbered. ✊🏾

I hope Bronny has a great career. As far as the draft, he did not earn the chance to be drafted. It was given. Every other draft pick had to have a resumè except Bronny. Bronny just had to have the right last name. He did absolutely nothing in college. If his name wasn’t James, he would have had to play 2 more years and put up numbers. 100% given, 0% earned. That’s just facts. Which is fine, good for him. All I ask is Stephen A and them never cry about nepotism and undeserved opportunities and oppression ever again
