Gil's Arena Debates If Luka Is BETTER Than LeBron At 25

Спорт

Gil's Arena Debates If Luka Doncic Is ALREADY Better Than LeBron James as The Gil's Arena Crew dives into the debate taking over the NBA world right now that Luka is better than LeBron was at age 25. They break down how Luka has already dominated the NBA at such a young age and discuss what a trip to the NBA Finals would do for his legacy ahead of tonight's close out game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. They also react to Bronny James' decision to stay in the NBA Draft and discuss what Bronny will go through in the pre-draft process before giving their thoughts on Ty Lue signing an extension to remain the Los Angeles Clippers' Head Coach. Finally, they revisit the rumors swirling around JJ Redick and The Los Angeles Lakers Head Coaching Job and give Carmelo Anthony his flowers for his 40th Birthday. Please consider giving us a like and subscribe!!!
Today's Crew - Rashad McCants, Kenyon Martin, Nick "SwaggyP" Young & Brandon Jennings
Gil’s Arena premieres every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 11:30am PT / 2:30pm ET.

The fact that you have a television show in Gil’s basement with legit NBA/WNBA players being hosted by a D1 college hooper is legit the perfect formula for a basketball show. As long as the people on the couch are worthy of being there, this show is always gonna be hot.

I don't think a person shouldn't be given any assistance in their journey but it's important to have a person create successful off the strength of their own will. It builds self awareness, self esteem and you better understand how the world operates. Most iconic people we learn about in school had to go through long periods of struggle to become who they turned out to be.

McCants is romanticizing and celebrating the struggle like a lot of people do. It's not fun doing that. I'm sorry. I agree with Nick Young on that point. When I was struggling to get on my feet, I was lucky to be able to live with my parents and finally get to a point where I was able to be on my own. Safety nets are important if you have them because not everybody has that. Hell, I don't need to struggle to build good character. If you got the resources and connections, use them. Don't struggle if you don't have to. McCants sounds goofy. PS: The show is much more peaceful without Gil yelling at the top of his lungs.

It's not even close to the Bronny situation. Kenyon wasn't still in the league with the option to go play for any team, and he was never close to LeBrons level. He also wasn't a billionaire with the money to throw around or the influence of Klutch sports to throw around. Kenyons son also made the league on his own merits. Bronny wouldn't even be entering the draft if it wasn't for his father wanting to play with him before he retires.

He’s not saying that he shouldn’t use his resources but if it’s being handed to you more than likely you won’t go as hard for it. They already feel like bronny has the talent but lacks the motor. Even Gil said it multiple times on this show.
