Kleptocracies, organized crime, and criminal enterprises all depend on an array of support services they receive from a sprawling industry of lawyers, accountants, bankers, managers, and front men and women of all sorts. These "enablers" may run the businesses, wash the money, or simply provide a veneer of respectability.
In this panel we bring together three veteran reporters who have dug into the criminal services industry, from massive money laundering operations and offshore assets to Donald Trump's real estate holdings.

I found this because I was looking for anything recent, on KZread from David Cay Johnston and stayed for the whole hour. In one sense, it is quite depressing that there are so many ostensibly 'upright and respected' members of the community, who are dirty as hell. In another sense, it is encouraging that there are people like these three journalists, who can and do, shovel sh1t until they find gold. More power to their collective elbows and be damned to the outwardly rich who appear to have no, visible, means of support. They are probably as corrupt as you suspect them to be.
