I haven't seen many, if any, English language reviews of this compact and portable mixer so here are my 1st impressions of the Proel Playmix 8.
I compare It to my experience with the Soundcraft 8/12fx and Soundcraft UI12, the latter of which also records in stereo, and the UI24R.
Playmix features :
- Light and portable
- records in 2 track stereo
- biilt in FX
- Bluetooth 💙
- can run on a USB power bank, powers on anywhere
- sweepable mids
- mini jack input, for tracks etc.
- power button
- AUX out (pre FX)
- 30db pads on XLR channels
Cons :
- Slides like an Olympic skater
- Knobs misaligned, factory quality check needs improving
- No FX footswitch control
- No PFL or channel LEDs
- No compressors
- No mains EQ
- No mute buttons

Appreciate the kind comment. Yes, very good value, would love a 14 band output graphic, channel pfl's and an extra aux send, BT should work separate the the record function, but otherwise excellent value. thanks for watching 👍🏻

No, only stereo to MP3, record level needs a boost in post too. Note : you can't use the recorder and the Bluetooth at the same time, so if taking a break and playing BT music you will need to turn off the recorder, activate Bluetooth and once finished your break then restart the recorder, this is not ideal and quite inconvenient.
Can you record to usb while using bluetooth?
