I have listened several renditions of this song including the original one and Lucy Thomas top all of them by far.

It's funny how some people comment that the louder someone sings the better they appear to like it. The problem with that is the louder someone gets the closer they get to shouting and of course this lessens the quality and purity of the notes. It's all about striking the correct balance, which Lucy seems to have achieved at a very young age.

As great as Gigi sounded, Lucy was just a level above. Lucy has the greatest female voice that I have ever heard!

Hi N2RA - loved listening to this. 2 great young female vocalists. Lucy was 18 when she released this. I really do enjoy Gigi's voice - it is beautiful but Lucy's version of this song is just breathtaking and to me kind of stands apart - talk about easy & elegant power - Insane. She just turned 20 and is now setting the standard. I really do hope you will check out her recent live performances - Hallelujah was the most recent release - more to follow soon. Thx!

Gigi vs Sohyang would the most fair of comparison instead.

Gigi is obviously better since you can feel the emotion in her voice as she builds up the song leaving you that emotion at the end. That is why I can listen to her songs over and over without getting tired of it..

I subscribed because of Lucy Thomas. She has it all, you should hear her live concert from March.

LOL KID or not! superior voice! I have listened to more songs from Ms Thomas, including this revisit! She is a generational talent my friend! I remember Babs at 18 when she sang live on jack Par! Lucy is in that light! They are both true spirits of music! Stage, Film, Broadway, recording studios Ms Thomas can exceed in all. Sorry no comparison of the two! Completely different level of voice in my opinion!

It's not about winners or losers why make something a competition i'm a big Lucy Thomas fan but each girl has their own unique style, i despise these types of videos because it's not about who sings it best because their both really talented.

Lucy Thomas sing this much better she does beautiful tone quality of voices powerful and strong breath control pure rich plain pitch perfect.

LOL music is God's gift of creative expression to Humanity, it is what separated us from the beasts in the fields! It's a personal preference of ones own ears, LOL and yes personal prejudges of the person creating the video! I do not know either artists very well, and their styles are quite different. One being a theatrical story teller and painting a picture with her mannerisms and voice. The other an acrobatic singer purely set in showing of her vocal range and capabilities. While Lucy's version was absolutely beautiful to hear, it feels very commercial and technical. Gigi's was emotive; she has a way of storytelling musically and expressing what is said would feel that it absorbs you into the moment.

Clearly Gigi. Lucy has soft chilling voice but having insufficient power when entering into a high note, by just getting up thru her softening technique .

Lucy's voice just aint big enough for these songs, GIGI by a long ling way 🇬🇧

Hello Steve, you must live in another planet than the rest of us, Lucy's voice is far more powerful than Gigi's and a lot more richer and purer. Gigis voice is more softer & she can't hit those high notes like Lucy does.
