Gigi is emotionally invested. I remember when she's still on TNT, she was interviewed about her childhood. She's an only child, her father left them during her early days and her mom was struggling up to now stage 4 breast cancer. She studying during the day and sing in gigs at night to support her Mom medication. Hence why, she always connected and delivered well emotional songs.
