And we wonder why the culture of drugs, gangs and violence perpetuates and grows. Why don't we focus on community instead? You know, the word with 'unity' in it? They don't want to see us united, they don't want to see us strong. A body is constituted of many parts, each part needing to come and work together in order to make the whole function. Right now our body, our communities, are segregated and divided. We need to celebrate one another, we need to come together and compassionately co-operate with one another to construct a future we all want to live in. It starts small - all the way from the language we choose to use, to the thoughts that we seek to put into action. Choose carefully when selecting which seeds to water in life. One

I liked your questions about his past. I like to know where the artist is coming from and that's a good way to get there. If the interview gets awkward sometimes that just means you are doing a good job instead of doing softball stuff. You exposed this man to so many potential new listeners that would otherwise never have heard of him if not for this interview. I'm from the States and I've always bumped grime here and there (Skepta, Dizzee, Kano, Wiley, etc.), but I'd say for the past year and a half or so I've bumped nothing but UK stuff. Section, 67, Nines, C-Biz, Giggs, Mist, Tremz, 410, Macca Wiles, Potter Payper, and just a bunch of the trap/drill stuff and grime that's blowing up right now. It's hard. I just think my fellow Americans would have a difficult time getting over the accents haha, that's usually the hang up. And the fact that they assume that there's no ghettos or crime over there or anything like that so when artists talk about some of the things that they talk about people don't take them seriously.
