В Австралии установлено более 600 огромных уличных скульптур, разбросанных по всему континенту. Некоторые их них мне удалось посетить лично.
Эти скульптуры, в основном, рекламные объекты гигантских размеров, расположеные рядом с основными туристическими маршрутами и главными дорогами. Они дают путешественникам повод остановиться, размять ноги и взглянуть на что-то уникальное и необычное, и, конечно, потратить немного денег на радость местным жителям.

The "Big things" of Australia are large structures, some of which are novelty architecture and some are sculptures. In Australia, big things have come to be seen as a uniquely Australian phenomenon. These structures have become affectionately known landmarks scattered throughout the country, with an estimated count of over 600 such objects around the country.
If you were to travel to Australia to personally see all the big things, you'd have to travel the length and breadth of the country....and it's a big country! So I've put together some of the "Big things".
