The largest Ngandong tiger specimen was ~368kgs (isometric equation), ~400/409kgs (regressive equation), and ~424kgs (GDI, a form of volumetric). That particular specimen will destroy any found specimen of G. blacki, 100% of the time.

The Ngandong tiger probably wins this. The average, fully-grown Gigantopithecus realistically would have weighed about 500 pounds, compared to the average, fully-grown male Ngandong tiger who weighs about 750 pounds. Now leopards, for which the average weight of a fully-grown male is about 200 pounds, are known to hunt 450-pound silverback gorillas. Now imagine what the 750-pound Ngandong tiger would do to the 500-pound Gigantopithecus.

largest tigers are SIberian tigers - rarely weigh more than 600 Ibs in the wild. If silverback Gorillas are 450 pounds, then Gigantopithicus blacki is way way heavier. I saw a documentary where the Leopard wa shunting for young gorillas. When it saw the SIlver back - the leopard walked away. Therefor, you're exagerating the situation.

The most reliable modern estimates of Gigantopithecus are around roughly 600 pounds, about the same weight as a large modern tiger, let alone the Ngandong. A silverback gorilla is roughly three times the weight of a leopard, and even then, if you search for accounts, you will find instances of leopards killing adult gorillas, one case was even recorded in captivity as well (set up by cruel owners, unfortunately). Great apes are very powerfully built compared to humans, but that’s compared to humans. You’ll notice that they generally have lankier arms than, say, bears or large cats.

Actually Gorillas are always overrated. The real bite force of Gorilla are not 1,300 psi. It is only 500-600 psi. Please watch the Creature challenge video(Gorilla VS Leopard The Honest Truth). He clearly mention the exact bite force of Gorilla(550 psi). And I hope u understand everything!
