It's a German Trilogy of books made into movies. The first movie is called Rubinrot ( ruby red in English) the second is called Saphirblau ( sapphire blue in English) the third is called Smaragdgrün ( emerald green in English) the first movie is the only one that was ever translated into English the second and third movie were German but with English subtitles. Hope that helps. I really loved the movies even though I read the books each as they came out. And I have to say I honestly like the movies better except for the ending I wish they would have kept it the same. The actors did an amazing job.
