Installation and sound comparison of Gibson exhaust on a 2018 Rzr XP 1000. We apologize for the washed out before video; we were having issues with the Iso settings on our camera. The sound is what matters. ;). View with headphones or good speakers.

@@jp7056 not sure if you're asking us, or Texas proud. As for us, we're really happy with it. We get many compliments on the sound and it did seem to improve throttle response.

@@DirtyRoosterOffroad that's great. I just ordered one, a little concerned on it being too loud. But Ive seen where the turbo models aren't quite as loud. Has the quality held up nicely?

Justin Paeltz the NA exhaust is loud for sure, but we got used to it. The turbo will definitely suppress the noise as compared to the open exhaust of a naturally aspirated machine.

Paint all the mesh neon yellow and spray a bit of spray paint in the top and hit up the cut off part with paint and a q tip.

I have looked at so many so I forget what is what. Seems to have some good feedback. Will this the same kind/model that can fit a 2017 rzr xp 4 1000 (non-turbo). Any help is much appreciated.

It's a different part number, but there is a dual exhaust available for your machine. You can find it on the Gibson website. gibsonperformance.com
I installed this exhaust on my xp1000 but forgot to disconnect the negative battery terminal and now my rzr doesn’t want to do more than 50 also goes into limp mode now. Know how I can fix this problem?

Disconnect the battery for 2 minutes, then reconnect and try again.

Do you need a tuner for the Gibson exhaust? I have a 2022 Rzr xp1000

We didn't measure anything, so hard to say. It seemed to help throttle response, but nothing to back that up other than seat of the pants.
How much louder it is then the stock one

Significantly louder. It shows the comparison later in the video. Use headphones to hear it better.
Where would you mount the license plate with this exhaust?

We mount all of our plates on the cross bar behind the seats using adel clamps, so this installation did not affect our license plate mounting.

This unit is not street legal in my state, so no light. Also, as far as I know, the XP 1000 doesn’t come with a license plate light from the factory.
Do you think it can fit good on a 23 turbo r ?

It will not. However, Gibson does sell an exhaust for your car.

Yes. Gibson does make one for the 2020 XP1K. You can look it up on their website.

It's the OEM Polaris "Bull Bumper".

@@DirtyRoosterOffroad Thank you. Polaris website says it won't fit my Turbo, but it sure looks like it would mount up.
Note to self, don’t buy a Gibson exhaust. More crap installing than any other exhaust I’ve seen.
