The Gibson Adam Jones Les Paul Standard is finished in Antique Silverburst and has an ebony fretboard with mother of pearl trapezoid inlays and Grover Rotomatic tuners with contemporary style buttons. It comes equipped with a chrome-covered BurstBucker 1 in the neck position and an uncovered DC High-Gain Humbucker in the bridge position. The controls are hand-wired with Orange Drop capacitors. It also features Adam’s signature on the truss rod cover and custom Adam Jones artwork on the back of the headstock!

@@DavidOakesMusic Indeed! I love Gibson but the new Epis are crushing it at their price point. And if the leaked info/specs are true, the Epiphone Adam Jones signature will be far closer in specs to the actual Adam Jones LP Custom than this Gibson standard version too.

But the Epiphone is almost £1300 a pop. I'd rather pay the extra grand for the Gibson.

@@chrisdaviesguitar Gibson is more than an extra grand. It’s $3K, over double the price and though it’s a great guitar, it doesn’t have much in common with Adam Jones actual Les Paul custom spec wise, it’s a standard, doesn’t have a seymour duncan bridge pickup, isn’t bursted on the back and neck, and lacks a maple neck just to name a few ways it deviates in specs and appearance. The epiphone on the other hand has the seymour duncan distortion bridge pickup, maple neck and it’s a proper Les Paul custom in design and appearance. Both are great guitars, but I’m a bit more inclined to get the Epi.

Today you can’t find the Epiphone for less than 2000 and the Gibson is only 2800 if you look hard enough…

The humbucker is reversed but not the magnets they are not out of phase like in the greeny guitar

High school friend had an 80s Les Paul Custom, black, no idea where he got the money. Most effortless neck I've ever played.
The DC has Angus Young clarity for dirt tones. It really surprised me how great it sounds. Made it hard to swap out for an MJ DDJ
I hate most but not ALL bursts. Silver burst is one of the few I love and this one has an aged look which is even better.

I'm with you on that. Silverburst is one of the few I like, but even then it has to be teardrop like this not the edge kind.

That’s just my old SG Standard that I put a middle pickup in, and installed a couple of switches in the pickguard 🤘

2,599???? For a poorly q/c Gibson…not my thing but I don’t fault those who dig it. I just bought a beautiful new Charvel Pro Mod DK24 2PT HH CM from a reputable dealer for 20% off. I wouldn’t trade that for this or anything else, actually. But I still find myself addicted to the guitar videos!!! 😂
Too bad it's not actually silverburst. The colour's yuk. It's more beige or gold. If it was actually a silverburst, I'd buy one.
