    You are true inspiration. I've been playing a long time and can hang. Reviewing these old Benson lines just reminds you to play with your ear let the music be sweet. I love smooth Jazz guitar, haters gonna hate.

    Very nice Andy ! Especially the 4th lick ! Very tasty , and I hope you keep up with this smooth jazz series, it is your best ! We love it ! Oh and I bought , and have been practicing , your new smooth jazz lesson, and I love it !     I am a pianist, when looking for licks I am not well served by painiste. i found a tric learning licks from guitar and Sax players! try it it will boost your play

    Morning Andy, I like what I’m hearing and I like your explanation, but I’m curious to know what pedals or amp settings do you use to get that “echo/delay” groovy sound?

    Hi Michael - I use the Line 6 Helix for my videos. The delay is a stereo delay set to the tempo of the song. On one side is an 1/8 delay and on the other is a dotted 1/8. The mix is usually quite low and I adjust the feedback to taste. I hope this helps.

    Play a regular Fm chord and remove your pinky on the 4th string.

    I have both and I enjoy what each has to offer. I like the full hollowness of the Ibanzex GB-10, but the D'Angelico is more versatile (and brighter).

    There is an option to slow down the video in the corner settings, also you can pause ;)
