Damn it, that Vulcan model looks as majestic in flight as the real one.

Love the British Vulcan.

I didn't even know this was a thing! This is the first time I've seen anything like this. I thought RC craft were only about 1ft long. That Vulcan and the two red arrows were the highlight for me. With a thumbs up for the impressive landing by the BOAC Comet.

The AVRO Vulcan B2 was incredible, my Squadron was 101 Sqdn at RAF Waddington. I was lucky enough to fly in those, and actually flew one from Iceland to Greenland.

Used to love watching the Vulcan fly over our house in Lincoln when I was younger!

How could there be people that didn't like this? Honestly IMO this is absolutely one of theeee best mini air shows I have ever seen on KZread if not the best! 10 out of 10!

They are 2 of the RAF's Red Arrows in minature. Love to see them fly with the Concorde just as the real life Red Arrows did.

Very nice Pete,i did notice you filmed that lovely lady quite a bit.Lovely jubbly.

Really amazing!! A tribute not only to the machines that inspired these models, but also to the dedication of those constructing and flying them!

These things are massive, it wouldn't be much of a leap to build a plane for yourself to fly around in

JUST OFF-THE-HOOK!!!! I wish there were more builds that included the lighting! Aside from a Comet and this Vulcan, I may have seen one other plane with lights. In fact, even the Vulcan didn't have Nav lights, Strobes, Beacon etc. I did see the Landing lights and I'm not real sure but I think the Comet had Nav lights. Lights or no lights though, they were all just absolutely GREAT! Rich

omg the SBD Dauntless!!!! One of my favorite planes!

Complements to the vid producer. This is one of the best I've ever seen. Re the aircraft, there are so many that were beautiful, hard to pick the one that impressed most. There are several. The T-33, the Vulcan, Comet, the Typhoon, and on. One thing about the larger models, they aren't nearly as twitchy as the small ones, I've never seen such takeoffs and landing. And the field is truly amazing.

Love this. Great build and great flying. Respect.

How is it that watching other men flying big model airplanes makes me feel ridiculously happy? Probably because many of my all-time favourite aircraft are here. I didn't realise, until I watched this, how important these model enthusisats actually are. Think about it. Those gorgeous aircraft are almost all obsolete. These enthusiasts, by flying these large-scale models, are keeping the memory of those aircraft alive. They are actually doing a service to all the fans of these aircraft. Seeing that Vulcan gave me goosebumps, as did seeing the Buccaneer on the ground, both aircraft I remember from childhood. Thankyou pilots - please keep it going.

of course, everyone that watches this says "I want one!". Great models, sounds, control. The Vulcan no doubt is a favourite. I would love to see a full display team of the red arrows, complete with coloured smoke (red, white and blue), and full POV controls so everyone could see where each of the others were. I ask a lot! Always amazes me, the talent and skills these guys have! All my model airplanes have mostly either flown away, ended up in a tree or if I have had RC, crashed! Rock on Guys!

I used to go to these sorts of shows as a kid in the 1970s-80s. My uncle had built a frigging huge "Boomerang" which was kind of like an aussie version of the spitfire. Spent half the year on it. Then in its maiden air show flight, lost control of it, and it collided into the judges caravan in a ball of fire. Yeah that was a setback lol. Fortunately nobody injured, except perhaps my uncles pride.

I didnt know the wheels retracted. How wonderful to own one of those great planes.

This is the type of stuff that I get amped up when I watch this stuff and then I run out and spend a shit load of money on a RC plane, get out there all pumped up, get it started and 3 seconds later it crashes into shreds and then I head home wondering WTF was I thinking!! Happens all the time. Just excited that's all!!

This hobby needs in-cockpit 3D cameras, and oculus rift for a full flying VR experience, just sayin'

Jose Díaz Nose camera, top of the vertical stabilizer and both wing tips would be excellent. The pin hole camera's I've seen might weight an ounce at most. Has anyone built a Mosquito? That was such a great aircraft.I don't know where the exhibitions take place unless the announcer is speaking in German, are all the pilot's from the country or area in which the competition takes place? It's hard to imagine you could ship your giant aircraft from the EU to US for competition.

I landed (no pun intended) on this page purely by chance and I must say was very impressed. I never knew that model planes could get to be so big,.. and the skill and craftsmanship plus the piloting was first class. Came back for a second watch to show my 3 boys (8,6, & 4) and they LOVED it and were cheering and laughing with delight! Well done everyone,.. looked like a fabulous and fun event. Thanks for the entertainment. Thoroughly enjoyed it!

Hi Pete, thanks for your reply. I found the other videos right through to part 5 plus some others and played them for the boys on the 42" LCD screen and it looked and sounded great. They were jumping up and down with glee. Now they keep coming to me and asking "dad can we watch the aeroplanes again?". A whole new world of entertainment that we were not aware of. We're located in Thailand so we'll have to enjoy your shows from afar but in due course I can see as the boys get older that they'll be at me to get them a RC aeroplane (or 2). Thanks again Pete. Without a doubt,this was the BEST RC Aircraft video I ever saw. Pilots seemed to be well trained,..just a great vid. I fly the MSFS Fs2004 simulator,and I saw EVERY ONE of my favorite AC in this show. Great job !

That's among the best consolidation of RC craft I've ever seen. Truly impressive. Anybody else notice how the narrow undercarriage of the ME109's makes the scale models just as difficult to land as the originals? Thanks for the upload.

That BOAC, wild... Threw me right back to a kid... Some of us live in a bubble.... Remembering my COX spitfire I was given on my birthday... Real beauty she was... Real gas included, fired her up slicing my finger wide open blood everywhere... Ran to catch the string (the kind that flew on a string)... She rose up violently then wobbled profusely and silence as it were in a parts pile! I was hooked on flying...

Roger Diotte ME TOO !! I was only in the summer of third grade ! I did have a little help from my dad, for take off. He bought me a large scale German STUKA.. She made the authentic whistle, as she dove to the ground, on the final descent, I didn't pull back up in time.. a few days later my dad had her all epoxy back together and she flew like a charm !! Yeah, hooked on anything nitrous, cars and planes alike, from day one !!
