I love how Martin not one to waste time when something breaks as he is always the 1st one to step in and diagnose and fix the problem of the broken units. He’s definitely a very good friend and a Solid person !! A person also has to love Claire’s energy and willingness to always take one for the team. Stay and Play Safe !

That happened to my gears too, even with hot racing gears! Only thing that fixed it for me was the hot racing motor mount to get rid of all the motor flex 👍

bought a Traxxas rustler and an 8s esc and now it is crazy crazy fast the front doesn't even touch the ground I use 2 4s traxxas lipos and it can do a standing 1/2 back flip it is so fun and when you add paddel tyre hoho it is so fun on the dunes

Great fun Kev, good Vid. Poor Claire. I don't run my Xmaxx as hard or as often as you, so my gears are still ok (touch wood), either that or I'm lucky. Kind of your fault that I have an Xmaxx.....and Infraction....and a TRX4.

Your the reason I had to have a xmaxx for someone that is just starting out with rc's the xmaxx is very forgiving when now knowing how to jump the truck takes the abuse and not break easy great learning truck and so much fun xmaxx baby great video man

I took out my WL Toys 144010 today and my friend's son took out the Slash that I gave him . I hit a speed bump and literally flew airborne over the top of the slash that was 10 feet away flew over it and landed it perfectly. My buddy was like DAYUM!!! First time he had ever seen the little WLToys 144010. IT was cool. Even though it was just a little WL Toys brushless car, it was fun,. We had fun. It was GREAT!!

I just wanted to say THANK YOU KEVIN! As a younger lad I fell in love with professional rc cars, parents got me a buggy at age 10 or so that I begged for, and from there I was addicted 🤣 however I lost my love of rc after becoming an adult simply due to financial reasons.. and I havnt even thought about getting back into it until I recently found your channel. Now I'm already planning to buy my son (10) his first one.. and I am hoping I will be able to afford one for myself although doubtful..lol So anyways, thank you for helping me remember this amazing addiction I used to have! Hope I can get back into it without burning my wallet too much. 😂

Well I'm exactly the same so I went cheap with a wltoys 124017v2 for £125 with a couple of 2s batteries and it's great for the price. Yes it's not a Traxxas or Arrma BUT it goes 40mph straight out the box and it can be modified and upgraded really cheaply so if you want a fast hobby grade car that won't break the bank and is faster than cars costing 3/4 tines the price,it's faster than a lot of 3s cars and it will run 3s taking it to over 50mph.

The mud is a better look

The biggest issues I've had with my XMAXX was the body, loose pinion, blowing up the stock pinion and spur gears, toasted my first motor, wheel bearings, and stock lower suspension arms. All of that got upgraded and I traded the stock ESC for a Max6.

Bought another one! Slapped a max 5 esc in it, standing back flips! Completely stock even motor. Have 800 kv with paddles and a 1100 kv. Stock gears do suck lol. I have 3 buy one!!!

Kev when you jump your Xmaxx do you use stiffer springs or heavier oil?

How do you mount a go pro under the truck and at the back?

My Stampede 2wd could've drove through that mud. **Messing with Whistlin Diesel. Don't trip.

Traxxas force you into using their expensive proprietary batteries, so unless you're comfortable cutting off and soldering new plugs on your ESC, OR Comfortable paying 2-3 times fair market value for batteries.... Maybe Arrma is the better choice.
