I am back in the hospital in the US now trying to get things figured out and hopefully they will soon. I have my tickets bought for my return in November.     KO Seafood is fantastic I've been there many times over the years . My favourite is a whole deep fried Red Snapper on top of a vegetable green curry . The owner supports Newcastle United so I'd guess that's the reason for the black and white striped shirts 😋

    The 900g thermadore we had was about 1300 so expect to pay between 1200-1500 thb

    Hi Som.! does that price he quoted you include the cooking..??? Otherwise that's more expensive per kilo than Australia. Here in Perth we can now buy crayfish for $27 a kilo...

    I've never really been a fan of lobster. Too fiddly to get the fish/meat away from the shell. When they cooked it, I would almost prefer it to be separated from the shell, and laid on the plate, with the sauce added. Just a personal view. Great presentation as always. Charm personified.

Deep-fried at Pond restaurant on Kamala Beach, Phuket, and my friend found a 'prawn pad krapow' (help me with the spelling, please) behind my Smile House hotel in Fisherman's Village on Koh Samui, both of which I will return to in January!
