Giant Oranda for your Goldfish Tank & Pond - 1/2

The Giant Oranda is an epic choice for an aquarium, goldfish tank and pond. This jumbo treasure has a super visual effect in the water and is a great selection because of their beautiful vertical mass. It's no surprise the Giant Oranda is a crowd favorite among the advanced and beginner aquarist that keep Goldfish in tanks or ponds.

    I have kept orandas and black Moore's in my little ponds for about 8 year's, I am amazed by them, when I introduced a tiny new black Moore my oranda Kimmy bonded with him, she would chew the food pellets and spit the small peices that were easier for the little one to eat at him, Kimmy would come to the edge of the pond and listen to me talk to her ,I could even gently touch her head, I didn't know how wonderful a fish could be. People should keep that in mind when considering caring for them

  • @ThePondDigger

    @ThePondDigger

    8 жыл бұрын

    That is a very good question. I am sure the quality of the koi, genes pool and diet are all very important to good wen growth. Routine water changes and water quality are very important to the growth rate of these beauties. If you run the water temperatures a little warmer the growth rate of the fish and the wen will increase as well. I hope that helps. Thank you for watching!

  • @gerrichasecat2153

    @gerrichasecat2153

    2 жыл бұрын

    People say they need a minimum of 20 gallons, but it’s best for them to have an 30 gal. If you already have a 7.5 gallon tank, I’d suggest two female guppies. (Two males would most likely battle) Oh, and if you do get an fish, don’t get plastic plants. If you do get fake plants, at least use silk since it won’t have a chance to tear at it’s scales and no dyed gravel.
