I think Giant Mottled Eel and Japanese eel are same in taste, more or less...

前から地味に気になってたのですが、鍋の取っ手が味があってオシャレでなんか好きです(笑) 手作りだとしたらセンス良いなぁ。 オオウナギの毒も傷口や目に入るとヤバいのでささくれとか気をつけてくださいね〜

それは取っ手が壊れた鍋を父が何十年も前に修理したものです。 長持ちしてくれています。オオウナギ、やはり毒持ちなんですね。気を付けます！

津本式究極の血抜きでウナギも血抜きをすれば泥吐きさせなくても臭みも無く食べられるとやっているので、やはり血液の中に生息域の臭さがあるんだろうなと思います。 だから血抜きをしないで食べる調理法では環境の影響をまともに受けるのかと。

Sorry, but hunger won this time...
i would like to try that, only problem no luck with eel this year. i have tried it 3 times this week alone and going fishing this night again. i hope i can eat eel again tomorrow. its been a hole year since the last time i eat eel. wish me luck 👍🏻

Di Indonesia, terutama di daerah saya belut sungai ini di hargai cukup mahal oleh penduduk lokal , yang masih hidup ukuran 2-5 kilo bisa di hargai sekitar 9000 - 10.000 JPY

You need a proper thin fillet knife. The flexibility helps with making flat cuts and its profile is better for slicing.
