These sculpted rats are trying to board a ship by climbing up the dock lines. This is on Lexington Avenue at about 43rd Street.

I grew up in NYC.. my older sister was coming back from the village and it was really late & her friends cut through Washington Square Park. They could hardly see & eventually got close to a streetlamp. As they walked they thought they were getting close to a group of stray cats but as they got close enough to see it was a flock of giant rats that began to chase them right outta the park!.. 😩
