Hey man. Son and I are visiting Dale Hollow next thursday ( 4th - 6th) for our first time small mouth fishing. We are from Hartwell in SC so, used to large mouth and spots. Can you give me some pointers and best baits to use for next week? Thanks dude. We will be staying at Dale Hollow state park. So not sure which part of the lake to start on.

Lol he's hilarious on the boat, I usually use 10-15lb Yozuri or PowerPro braid.. I've been trying different ones out lately though, leader is always Sunline FC Sniper... I use 7lb mostly, occasionally 10.

So what part of the creeks were they in? Mouths, main lake or secondary points?
@reidangling
4 жыл бұрын
They weren't in the creeks, not close to the dam atleast... I caught all these fish off main lake points, or small coves right off the main channel. Last week we were catching them up in the creek close to the Kentucky side of the lake... but honestly they've been everywhere really!

Do u like the CI4+ or the fl more, I got a Ci4+ a couple weeks ago and rly like it but still kinda wanna try the FL😬

Honestly I like them both... lol I alternate between the 2 and I can't tell a HUGE difference, they're both great reels. The FL definitely reels smoother though.

What are the two rods you are using they look the same? The cream and red? I cannot get a good look. What is the reel? Ci4? Thanks! NVM... I just saw the new video..

Man, sorry I'm just now replying to this... I would throw some 3-4" swimbaits, ned rigs, and small jigs! That kinda hits everything across the board, they ought to eat one of those!
