Giannis is a good, honest dude. He's not over-the-top modest, he acknowledges his greatness, knows his worth, says it outright but still comes off as humble and grateful. Not to mention that he already boasts a Hall of Fame-worthy career at only 26 years of age. What a guy!

@@uus4127 what he means is that hes not like "oh i got so lucky, im so grateful the bucks are basically gifting me my paycheck, i got carried by brynn forbes in the finals." stuff like that a lot of professional athletes like to do nowadays. he appreciates everything that has happened to him, but also recognizes his own worth and how much it took for him to get where he is now.

Giannis is the only fella that I can think of that when he's on court, he stole the show and better yet, gives no airs that he's good. He just does what he does and that's it. That is why he's sooo well loved by every NBA fan.

Mad respect to Giannis for what he's achieved in his career. He could have left Milwaukee but he was determined to succeed and win it all in Milwaukee. And he did it. He's a phenomenal player and when its all said and done will be among the greatest power forwards, maybe the greatest power forward to ever play the game.

Hearing him say "soccer" team was so funny because we as the rest of the world and definitely as Greek know that in his mind he wanted to say "football team".
He is simply a breath of fresh air for the league. Far too often NBA stars seem to put on a face, but Giannis is genuine. He doesn't act like he does not want to be bothered, or is above it all. It makes being a fan of the NBA feel... good.

I love that his favorite moment of his in the NBA is not winning a championship or a highlight play but instead when his whole family was there to watch him. What a nice personal answer. They show highlights of that game in the documentary video Finding Giannis. Definitely worth a watch.

i've never watched bucks basketball, in fact i only started trying to keep up with the nba since the playoffs started this year. i happened to click on this video and now i really like this guy, he seems like an all round good dude, and that part with his family was really wholesome. wishing he stays healthy and happy always!

I've been watching the NBA for now 50 years . You can't always compare players . Some are just unique in what they do and how they do it . No player has never played like Giannis . He has such a unique style . And no one has ever played like Kevin Durant. There are certain players that are built differently and do things their own way. But let me say this . His drive and determination and physical gifts make him one of the best of all time. With modern medicine, training , strength conditioning, the players today careers can be played at a high level longer. So giannis will have at least 10 more seasons to play at a high level. People better get used to him. He's here to stay for awhile.

Tbh I never heard of much of Antetokounmpo but after watching his biography on Disney plus such a inspiration story nearly cried at it because it such a powerful story of his life
when an inanimate object sees Giannis coming towards him it become animate and moves out the way.

Humility is novelty at this point. He knows he's unguardable, he knows he can guard anyone and everyone else knows it too. Humility got him here, but he doesn't need that anymore. He's comparing himself to the GOATS and he should.

Giannis seems like a humble and stand up guy. Glad he was able to win a championship and MVP. Very deserving
The thing I respect most about him is how he is made he stayed loyal to the bucks and never thought about leaving. Also how down to earth he is even after everything he has accomplished he isnt cocky
Loved this so much. Giannis is such a genuine guy and hearing how he views himself and his place in the NBA is simply inspiring.
