Giving hope to thousands of Greek kids and kids from immigrant families, to believe in the dream and to fight for it. This is his biggest legacy that transcends basketball, and goes beyond the imaginable.

The 1960's had Russell. The 1970's had Kareem. The 1980's had Magic. The 1990's had MJ. The 2000's had Kobe. The 2010's had LeBron. By the projection of his career, the 2020's will belong to Giannis. *EDIT*: As of writing this comment, Giannis now is a 2x MVP, Defensive Player of the Year, All-Star MVP and an NBA champion/Finals MVP. All at 26, before reaching his prime. He has arrived. A new legend awaits.

@@NoLimits316 That probably had more to do with coaching adjustments than anything else, because they lost two good defenders. Harden was still leading in turnovers and barely winning games despite dropping 40-50 a night. That's a good performance individually but that's not winning basketball. Even Kobe acknowledged this and said from experience scoring like that wouldn't do anything for the team.

@@smiles4thecamera i am from Greece, and actually this stupid country does not grant immigrants nationality, even if they are born in Greece like Giannis. Giannis was stateless until he was 18 years old, no documents for 2 decades, even though he was born in the country. But staying so long and from the beginning of his life, i must say that he has acquired the greek mentality, which shows every time he talks. The rest is genes. Bottom line: he "became" Greek, even though Greece didn't want him to prior to his success.
