Hyrdrofoil is a great vehicle. It’s really a beautiful toy, when I started off trying to collect the whole 82-94 vintage range I made sure this was one of the first big vehicles I added.

Did the same I searched for the cool vehicles of that line
I never had the Moray, but I wanted it. I loved GI Joe. GI Joe was one of the greatest toylines of my childhood.
Man I love that Tidal Creek footage! Hydrofoil has to be one of my fav Cobra vehicles, that I never had as child. Great video! 💥💥💥
I always loved the attention to detail in the design of these toys. They really understood their audience. I loved assembling them, applying the decals and playing with them. They were such a great value.
I am from the Dominican Republic. I remember this particular toy. I did not have it in my collection but a friend did. It was a great to be 9 year old boy in 1985. Toys from the 80s were the best.
What a story - Jody has always been so generous and it's frigging amazing he found it with the UK style box.
i really love how massive both the toys and the packaging on the Action Force/GI Joe toys are. I always was overwhelmed when i walked into a toy store and all those fantastic boxes of toys, be it MASK, Transformers, StarCom or those. Good times

Indeed those were the good old days in Transformers you had purple and Red boxes then gi joe and Motu had great art on their boxes
Great video Tony, the Moray really is one of the standout vehicles of the line. Jody is a truly generous soul, as always ☺️ And wow @ 11:06 the TTBP, Chainclaw, the Blue-Box basketball game, and what looks to be a wad of cash… your cousin cleaned up that year! 😄
Toni, you seem so genuine in sharing your stories and your wonderful Joe collection with us all. Thank you for these videos. As a grown man that still has countless Joe items from his childhood, its fun to see others share theirs with such enthusiasm. I got the 'Foil back in '85 at its American release and loved it. I then sold it in 2002 to pay some bills and bought one sealed to replace it about a year later. God willing, i think I'll hold onto this one! Peace to you and yours Toni and thank you again for these videos!
Missed this when I was a kid . it is one of my favorite cobra vehicles in my collection. Always cool to see it out in some water.nice review
One thing I love about being a father is sharing play experience with my son. While I don't always have the same toys I did as a child my son and I can play out scenarios just like you described. I get a little bit of my own child hood back and share that experience with my son.
I had one, and it was awesome. Probably the largest toy I owned, not just GI Joe line. It had so many details. And that Cobra sticker on the side is still kick ass!
This toy was AWSOME! I played with my hydrofoil all the time. I remember the missle rack was always a huge pain to keep aligned but I gladly fixed it every time to keep it in tip top shape. Had to sell all my GI Joe when I went to college to help pay the bills. Still sad about that to this day.
I had one back in 87 and on until about 2017, then my entire collection was lost in a storage unit(s) and a divorce. Thank you fir bringing back some fond memories!
I got this toy when I was kid and loved it. I played with it all the time. Even in the bathtub. I moved out when I 18 and left it at my Dads in a box with all my GIJoe stuff. At some point between my Dad’s moves it was lost. I searched everywhere to find a complete one but have not been successful. Still was thankful I had one when I was long and got so many hours out of it.
Fantastic vehicle, easily one of the best in the entire GI Joe toy line. It had killer looks and tons of fun play features, and was a childhood favorite. I had Joes sneaking aboard too, but they were their to steal it for their own use. Fortunately I never got out my Testors paints and applied a more Joe appropriate livery...
That vehicle is epic just amazing looking and the fact it had several seats inside just adds to the lore
A ssssssstriking vehicle indeed. I never had the vintage original but I got an incomplete rerelease redeco of the Hydrofoil for team Joe, man they made em good back in the day.
Tony, when I got mine - we took it over to our local woods in Norwich (Mousehold Heath) within the woods was a pond which the Fire Brigade used to bring the pump engine down to and fill up. Tethered on the end of my Superman kite strings (no-kite) we pulled the Moray across the pond and to our amazement - that 'toy' came right out of the water! Just like its real life design...Many passes where made and a great day was had...the only downfall was the searchlight, yup, somewhere in a pond in Norwich there's a little piece of clear plastic! "bugger!"
This was one of my favorite vehicles when I was a kid. I too got it for Christmas and spent hours upon hours with it having pool and bath adventures. I still have my original in my collection.
A fellow Joe collector? I’ve got this too, all parts are in order too! A favourite and a believable piece of hardware!
This was one of my favorite vehicles from the entire line. I love taking a look back at it. You've brought so many great memories of my childhood with this one.
What a wonderful, detailed piece! Hasbro designers did a great job! I'm amazed at the detail and thought put into it! Cobra could have won the Battle of the Atlantic with a fleet of these.
Probably my favorite G.I Joe vehicle of all time. I used to take it to my Grandmothers house and play with it in the pool. What I liked most about it was not only did it float, but when waterlogged it sank to the bottom. Another pool favorite was the Night Raven because it too sank to the bottom very slowly. I used to have it crash land in the water and have the pilots evacuate before it went under.
The Cobra Hydrofoil is now on my list to look for at JoeFest. Hope to see you there!
Outstanding video and great work on the special effects!!!
What an awesome donation by Jody and review! I look back and wish I had one of these but was into so many different toy lines at once I only had smaller vehicles. Great video as always.
Grat review Tony. Love all your videos brother!! Always very well informed and professional.
Such a cool toy from such a great guy. I loved all the B-roll water footage in this one.
Definitely one of my top 10 favorite vehicle/playsets in the Joe line. As you probably know, these were available in the states in our 85 line. I lost my spotlight lens when I was a kid, but bought the 2005 TRU version just for the lens to complete it.
Awesome video my Brother! Sharing your childhood memories makes it that much more fun to watch! The 'Foil was and still is 1 of those rare Cobra vehicles that made Cobra a serious contender on the water! I remember getting mine as a gift for the holidays and I was so excited as a kid to have it and I still am! Thanks.for sharing your enthusiasm!
Great video! Awesome toy. I love that you shared your play scenario with us. Tons of great memories and fun with this one. Thanks
Great review! I really enjoy the depth in which you go and the live action shots are great. I completely forgot about this one. My friend had a hydrofoil when we were growing up. I was so jealous! Since your review i bought one(lol- apparently I'm very impressionable).
Only just saw this. Great review! I did not realise it floated! Jody bought this through my shop. So glad it arrived ok and you did this video. What a fantastic friend you have. Saw the unwrapping video as she kindly sent me the link but was good to watch this too. Keep up the great work!
I remember playin with this in the bathtub, loved it
I just discovered your channel. I love how you put the figures and vehicles in the great outdoors. I'll be watching you this weekend
Such an amazing vehicle, awesome video Tony
80's kids had the best toys.
Great video @AnalogToys !
Awesome! I think 1987 is my favorite year for GI Joe toys also. Never had the Hydrofoil but it always looked really cool in the little catalogs
Awesome review tony. Good luck finding that lens.🇺🇸👍
Great review Tony. Thanks for the background on when Action Force stopped in the UK and Action Force International Heroes started. Gives me some background for my Sky Striker my mother brought back from the UK to New Zealand on one of her holidays. Sky Striker no box stuffed inside her suitcase.
This too was one of my favorite Christmas toys, along with The Flagg!
I remembered getting this for Christmas, along with AWE Striker and Cobra Terror Drome. My two sisters help put together the Terror Drome while I do the Striker and Hydrofoil. Wish I hadn't sold them years ago.
Great video. I picked up a Hydrofoil a couple of years back. I had one when I was a kid. Great vehicle.
The Hydrofoil was one of my favorite toys, as a boy.
I just discovered your Channel. Thank you so much for your videos. I also got this vehicle for Christmas that year. It was always one of my favorites growing up

Thank you for your kind words, and thanks for checking out my content!
Love your style and presentation!
What a great toy! I was out of G.I. Joe by 87 (I'm 3-4 years older than you) but my best friend's cousin had one and definitely thought it was cool and wished I was a couple years younger so I could play with it.
Love it Tony! looks flipping amazing on water. Pound for pound this thing has gotta be the most heavily armed aquatic vehicle in the line. Some of the features they included remind me of the Moonraker Glastron Carlson Q boat.
This vehicle was out of my price range as a young collector but like many I definitely wanted one. Great video Tony
This type of review is why I came to this channel originally. Great stuff. Reminding me of my playtime. I remember I had Lamprey but not this vehicle - I had the Moccasin. I guess I must have swapped him with someone.
Great review, great vehicle. I still have my childhood one but all the tabs to hold the haul together have all broken off, going to try and tape it together. Looks like it floated well in the water! Cobra!
I got this for christmas from my dad and step mom. I had so much fun with this as a kid
A wonderfully detailed realistic war machine
Fantastic review... I picked it up a month ago together with the rattler and Terror Drome.
So many memories, I love GI Joe toys, thank you 👍
hands down, my favorite vehicle
Excellent review! 👍
Excellent video 👍 Compliments Jody so a big "Yo Jody" shoutout 😉👍

Hahaha Yo Jody, I love that!
I get the feeling iot was as much fun designing these toys than playing with them. I can see a bunch of men in a room seeing how many guns they could fit on a vehicle.
The Moray is an awesome vehicle. Got the chance of getting it together with the Whale, for a great price, when I began my collecting journey 15 years ago ✊🏼
I not only have the COBRA hydrofoil as well, but I also wrote my own form of ‘tech specs’ for it! (Did that for most of my JOE vehicles…) 🤓
Love the dry dock storyline!
I so loved the cobra hydrofoil, I got lucky enough to get one at a toy show. but of course its missing just about everything. now the fun is finding replacement parts.
Never had this one as a kid. I had the whale, the water moccasin, and the shark. I am currently looking for this from my current collection, and can’t wait to play with it!
i always wanted a moray hydrofoil. they were the coolest boats in the line.
great toy- fantastic review!
As kids we went hard with the whole GI Joe action fugure war setup inside and out snow didn't matter only added hence alot of lost parts and broken we got our money's worth. But to see these almost complete is great I just brought my sr 71 or A12 cobra plain to my house I think it's 90% still cool also my Voltron that's 90% also.
I still have the turret and will be getting a replacement hydrofoil soon. After all these years I didn't know that it would float!
Great video always fun to see your videos The moray one of the coolest and nice gi joe vehicle. When I started collecting joes back in 2000 I was lucky to find one except for the lense (which I don’t mind not to have it) maybe one day I will put a repro one in it. 2 years ago I found another complete morray at my local flea market for z80$ I picked it up for a xmas girft for a friend and collector.
Besides the Rattler, this was my favorite Cobra vehicle. It could hold so many figures, and had a ton of weapons. It was awesome to have as a kid
I love the COBRA Moray so much I had it's logo laser etched onto my 9mm suppressor.
I loved all the BIG BOX toys in the 80s. These toys were just amazing, and you could see the technical TLC in their production. From the ultra-realism at the start to dialing it to 11 and hitting that sweet spot, not too outlandish, wacky or sci-fi. When they lost the edge and threw it away, that will be one of the saddest eras in my life. The two toys I wish I could have owned were a MCC and Defiant.
That Christmas I got the hovercraft, the rattler and the aerialbots......that was a great Christmas lol.
I had the cobra hydrofoil as well, and it was awesome!
you got me with the somewhat protected windshield haha
Great video mate👍
Great Vid Tony! What a great vehicle! - might send pics of my childhood survivor Moray if that's of interest? just for Fun :) All the best Bud!
When I was a kid, I wanted the WHALE for Christmas. I got this instead. Looking back, I think this was probably better. It's probably the one piece I miss having the most. Thanks for doing the video.

The WHALE was better and MUCH harder to find.
I love the hydrofoil what a great toy it is, Jody is a legend. As always Great video. 👍
I remember the Christmas I got this and it has been my favorite ever since.
I had one of these when I was a kid. It was great. Though I could only make it float in the bath.
Thank you for this one.
I had this it was awesome. I made a "missile launcher" with a bit of plastic tubing and an elastic band and I'd set the hydrofoil with action figure and take toy missiles and fire them at the Moray trying to take out the "crew". Had a lot of fun with that.
The Hydrofoil and Water Moccasin are favourites of mine.
hope Hasbro Rereleases this vehicle with the new o-ring line. cant wait for the reveals during Yojoe June.
What a fantastic American toy line !
I don't collect any GI Joe or Action Force, but this toy is spectacular. Love that you had some shots of it in the water, it looked amazing. I would love some of this line but I just don't have any space left thanks to SWBS, MOTU, M.A.S.K. and Ghostbusters...
Great video friend, I too got one for Christmas too but instead I got GIJoe one. Did the action force one have torpedo have stickers on em? Because my joe one did. Anyway I enjoyed the video
I missed the Patreon notification so now I gotta wait for it like a normal person. You might say I was Hydro-foiled myeh-heh!

I just finished a restoration of a killer whale and bought the Hydrofoil for my next restoration project. Another toy I didn't have as a kid but always wanted. So cool.
This and the Killer Whale were my favorite from the line as a kid. This came out right before I aged out of toys (discovered girls) and it was a great last hoorah. I can’t believe I never put it in water !
07:59 and I keep clicking and clicking. I loved this thing as a, uhm... kid.

Are trying really hard to be funny but failing at every turn?
Luckily I had this-great toy,so many features
LOL, in an actuall combat situation, the Baroness would have her hair tied up on a bun to avoid it getting caught up.
Great review & toy. When restoring old school Joes/AF do you only stick with og parts or are you ok with 3d printed parts??
My little bro had this, I had the WHALE. I have both now, amazing vehicles, but your completely right-so many little, lose able and breakable pieces! The Whale has to be worse. Lol
I had a few of these figures in my youth
Has these as a US kid, wish I still did!
