There is an advantage to the open arm and leg construction of these, gap filller isn't super expensive and you could embed magnets all over that thing to swap out weapons or tools on the legs and arms. Or in the legs especially, just packing some mass into the legs would make it more stable (less top heavy), and again, you could embed magnets in the feet to swap out skates or skis. I kind of wonder if you could build space into the cockpit by cutting off the rear panel, extend the cabin space back with a some recycled plastic or legos, then glue the back panel back, if you wanted it, once you had a deeper cavity. That might throw off the balance though by the time you add the necessary leg room. Might have to snag one of these to try it out.

I never thought about adding magnets, great idea to add stuff. Im working on another one, this time Im going to take away the electronic part so I have more room for the legs hopefully I don't have to open it from the back.

I appreciate the review, and how it fits the classified figures. I picked one up, and wished I hadn't. this thing is very cheap. probably not even worth 15 bucks. for me, the Halo mech is a much better buy. but nice review and paint job on it

I have the halo mech too, the quality on that one is better I think I got it for 40 bucks the difference is that this mech has a large cockpit so the work on it is very minimal. I also have another video on the avatar mech I customized, it took longer and it was not easy to do. There are a few things id do different on the avatar mech at the time of customizing it. I guess my main poit is Hasbro can do a mech with the quality of the halo mech but size of this chap mei one without haslabing it. Nice find! Slightly disagree that Hasbro can successfully make it that cheap. It displays well but looks like it may flop over any second. Fans would loose their minds if the arm slowly dropped down (see Sentinel). Does it look like the figure can sit in a chair position if you gut the electronics?

Like I mentioned in the video, hasbro can make this a better version than this, slightly better and still charge a good amount people would make lines for it, I guess its a never ending conversation. It don't tip over, but for $15 totally worth it. This was just a test on my next one Im planning to to exactly what you brought up, my guess is that it could fit sitting normal if I take out the electronics.

Ill have to size them up, totally for about doing that, the cockpit on this one is much bigger and wider than the avatar one. If you get a chance watch my 2 other videos on the avatar mech, I had to mod it to fit a figure, I like this a lot... better.

Hasbro is some money grubbing sob’s acting like electronics is soooo expensive to produce I’ll say it they SUCK all the old toys had it‼️
