Great review. I cancelled my pre-order a week or so ago, once I saw how bad that head sculpt was looking in hand from various people. I will eventually get it but will wait for a sale or clearance. Besides the head, I would have liked to see him come with some type of handgun.

The head is bad, but pictures and videos make it look even worse. As for more accessories, yeah they should have a couple more things with them.

You're not the only one who has said it's not as bad in person. I definitely don't think that makes you a "shill." This was a solid, non-bias review of a figure that has already developed some negative notoriety. I'll definitely be swapping out his head with a custom version, but I won't be cancelling my order.

That’s probably the best practice to be honest. Sometimes you have to pick and choose and it’s getting closer and closer for me to start doing that too.

Well the Cover Girl review is done and loaded, you’ll see that tomorrow. The thing is, it’s not GI Joe with QC issues, it’s all of Hasbro.

The body alone will be great for custom work for Footloose etc, the beret should have been better sculpted

Honestly, and just my opinion, but I like that they put real names to them in addition to their more colorful "code names". Makes them feel more like fully realized characters, in my imagination. 😂 Great review as always. 🤘🏻

I took one good look on the face, and thought, "That's the look of a man who just got kicked out of the army by his own brother." 10/10, character-accurate face sculpt.

Another excellent video and review of an interesting figure. Lawrence, I like my “Falcon”, I changed the headsculpt for a spare headsculpt from ”Duke”. I like my combat figures to have helmets and I fitted him with an M1 Vietnam era helmet. He also has an M16 rifle. I also ditched the radio for a different backpack. Thank you for another great review. 27:14

Everytime I see that head sculpt, I start wanting to shout "Thunderbirds are go".

I'm not a fan of Falcon, so I started out on the fence about buying him. His face made that decision easier. I did pre-order Cover Girl. I can't wait to see your review on her. If she looks crazy, I will probably cancel her.

@@Apunkwithtoys Flint is my favorite Joe and that classified version is trash. Ugly headsculpt and stupid shin guards. He’s basically a lazy Duke repaint with and uglier headsculpt. He needs a redo!

for me, even worse than the face sculpt is the missed camo coloring. He basically just green. Think I'll want for a repaint to fix his coloring.

Nice review. I’m definitely getting him . I’ll do some work with the facesulpt. As far as o ring falcon you have him holding his shotgun by the magazine. The long thing is not a handle or grip for the trigger hand. That’s an extended mag.

He looks like the love child of John Wayne and Crispin Glover. It's a weird head. It's the worst in the line so far, but not as bad as it looked online at first. I wouldn't have gotten him if I didn't find him in the wild, but overall I like him. I also glued that annoying scarf down. He doesn't reuse parts from Stalker though, he's entirely reuse from Recondo.

It is by far the strangest face sculpt I have ever seen. It just looks so bad in pics and videos, but not nearly that bad in person. It’s not a good sculpt, but not as bad as we thought it was gonna be.

I'm thinking with his short sleeves he could be good with the Gridiron Studios Space Marine Loadout if you lose the neckerchief. Maybe swap the head out with Grunt?

I wonder if the Golding/ movie snake eyes head would look good on falcon? The stalker beret fits Golding.

I think I'll get this figure, the face sculpt looks like an Italian or Eastern European man , look at pics of young Martin Landau for an example. I'd keep the head and either paint flat clear on the lips or a tan color on them, maybe both. Good video.

That face reminds me of Jim Caviezel from the tv show “Person of Interest”. Definitely not movie star handsome. Good review!

Love my Falcon, to me the figure is great and his face has grit. Simpler figures are always gonna be scrutinized in this line in my opinion cause of so many heavyweights we have gotten. I have the figure in hand and his face to me is great.

Yeah. Your Falcon figure headsculpt doesn’t look that bad. Looks pretty good in fact. The paint apps seem to be applied better compared to what I’ve seen with other reviewers. I plan on picking him up in stores. Now here’s the problem with that. How can we make sure we get Falcon with the right paint apps? We can’t thanks to windowless packaging. We can return him and try for another but how many times can we return him before we find one with good paint apps? Then there’s the problem of supply and how many Falcons even show up in the stores.

Shit. That's my favorite character and I was praying for this...well not THIS !? I always thought of him as mid twenties, younger than Flint.

No one seems to be mentioning that there are some unusual/unique looking people in the real world, and this sculpt kind of reflects that. Certainly there are wealthy celebrities who look kind of like this and a couple of them have even been in Oscar winning war movies. You clearly got a better face print than Bobby Bee did. I ordered two of this figure and if one of them has a face that looks as good as yours does, I'll be perfectly happy. Hasbro has screwed up massively across multiple lines over the past couple of years, but paint/QC issues with individual figures notwithstanding, I don't think this is an example of that. I think they had a vision for this character and maybe it didn't quite translate as intended, but it looks like a real person might look, and I honestly kind of dig it. I do have a spare Blowback head just in case, but I'll see what I get when he gets here in a day or two. I'm optimistic that at least one of them will look as good as yours does and he'll go on the shelf with no need for modification, other than using a Valaverse scarf and rifle to replace the kind of crappy looking ones he comes with. But that's SOP in my collection anyway.

He looks to me a lot like Jeff Kober back when he was on China Beach.

I thought you were going to replace the Falcon head for the clearance Duster head man... Now that I see Falcon in hand, doesn't look as bad as the bad rap they advertised and all the forums and KZread channels... I will get me one since I like the original ARAH figure.😀✌️🇺🇸

Duster has his own derpy head that doesn’t look that good, just people are allowed to criticize Valaverse 😂

Also I feel bad is if the print is off or bad paint apps. Otherwise I have no problem with my soldiers being ugly they’re not super models.

It’s not a bad figure for being a straight reuse of Recondo with the exception of that head. I really wasn’t planning on getting him but he was on sale on Amazon last week so I decided, why not? For me the problem with the head is the mouth. It makes him look like a marionette, and it looks like he’s wearing lipstick. I’m probably going to try and strip the color down a bit see if I can find another cheap Dusty figure at Ollie’s and customize it for Falcon. I also didn’t like the shotgun for him, so I gave it to Shockwave since that figure would have one instead of machine pistols. I ended up giving Falcon the MP40 that came with an Indiana Jones figure I have. Looks alright and is in keeping with the WW2 green beret look Falcon has.

I'll still get him.. I need more Joes anyway. Too many Cobras on the shelf

@@Apunkwithtoys Oh yea, definitely no big deal. They are doing more re-use, but one thing that I am super happy with is the sheer number of bucks in rotation. The first 3-4 waves had something like 10 unique sculpts, perhaps more than that. I broke it down once, don't have the info in front of me. As much as I appreciate ValaVerse, the Joes have far, far more variety. Gives you a ton of unique statures and builds. I hope that we aren't moving into a cost cutting phase where we see too much reuse (Scrap-Iron and TeleViper are basically repaints with new heads and secondaries), but then again, Torpedo, Rock n' Roll, and Snow Job are all brand new tooling it appears.

Can’t be any worse than Grunt’s face and hair. At least three other Joe’s had that mug so I’ll live. He’ll just be my ugly Joe😂. Great video!

Seinfeld had a great episode about a woman that was a "two face". Point was, in different kinds of lighting she was attractive. But then in other lighting.. not even good lighting she was instantly unattractive. hahaha great episode and your reaction at times my dude was very familiar! lol.

Your Falcon doesn't look too bad, can actually see a little of Christopher Reeve mixed with John Cena in the sculpt. Hope mine looks as good. Does he have a A or a B stamped under his foot? Heard there's more quality problems with the B factory. Maybe that has something to do with a good or bad looking Falcon.

Falcon is fine sculpt wise. Not the best head sculpt, especially when compared to outback. My biggest gripe on this figure is the harness and the tail end of his shirt is one piece. Which doesn’t sit right and makes the shoulders look goofy.

I wish they used the original colours. I'm colour deficient green so the new one doesnt look like hes got tiger stripes to me. My wife clued me in. But yeah to me the classified one looks slightly boring. Thanks for the video amigo.

I might add a five o'clock shadow to him when he comes. He was kinda a playboy in the movie, just needs a chick on his hip.

They need to have actual pictures of the figure on the box, not the digital renders. It is false advertising. No window, no sale.

In hand everything about the figure feels like they are trying to homage the mid 60’s 12” original GI Joe. But didn’t quite succeed.

The face is rough, but I’m more annoyed by the sculpted knife

Thanks for the review. I love falcon as an O-ring but this figure looks terrible. How many of your guys are really buying Falcon? I know you say he doesn't look that bad. But he doesn't look good either. Nothing like the O-ring they all look good. Just not Sunbow accurate but this is really horrible, the worst part is that this toy was created 40 years later!

At least Hasbro should take a look to Super7 (yeah they are bigger and cost 20 extra bucks) but common HASBRO is the damn license owner! We need more accuracy! At least Cover Girl looks beautiful

This is where me and my husband comes to the conclusion that Valaverse Action force is superior to GI Joe Classified. The sculpts on some of these figures are hilarious and the face that we pay money for figures that have no stands makes Valaverse worth the money. Me and my husband chose to buy a set of stands (4) from Valaverse to allow our Classified figures to stand up with gear on. I wish the people working on GI Joe classified would do something more equal to Valaverse better none Nerf looking weapons (minus Falcons Shotgun) some better looking loadouts like Molle vests and plate carriers (okay i know about these equipment being married to ex-military husband who works private security currently today) and better face sculpts! My husband Kitbashed many of the Cobra troopers ESPECIALLY the Alley viper because bright colors look ridiculous in a combat zone. My husband has a deviant art page to show off his kitbash of ally viper,and viper trooper!

Well I have to disagree on a lot, which is all good cause it’s out opinions. The Falcon head sculpt is the only bad one, but people seem to forget how bad Duster’s is, it looks like Falcon’s brother. The Nerf guns are long gone and frankly, I HATE stands. I have no issues standing 90 percent of my figures, and most that I have issue with are superheroes that have a small footprint. So I have like 40 Action Force stands sitting in a drawer 🤷🏻‍♂️. As for the colors being ridiculous, that’s GI Joe, it’s always been that way. They’re toys for kids and colors make them pop in displays, with that said, I always loved the military looking Joe’s.

I understand your thoughts my friend and my opinion is my very own. Yes they have changed the weapons for the better and i do like the weapons that came with the alley viper and cobra trooper. My husband resembles Stalker and i see the happiness in his eyes when he received the stalker figure. He left Stalker alone because his gear was excellent! My husband served in the South African Defense force from 2005 to 2015 and he customized Recondo to look like his friend Dietrich from their time in the service. You are right Classified has become better!

I’m from Japan i was born there in the late 1980s and i never collected action figures. my husband age 42 grew up on military bases since the 1980s and 90s so his life is military and even now he works for a private security firm so the lifestyle never left him. these wonderful figures really do bring us joy and it’s fun to hear new fresh ideas in this community.

Canceled my preorder. That face is embarrassing and they know they can do better. They need to do better.

Looking at your copy to me it seems the face paint on yours is better than others that have already did a review on him. I think that is why yours doesn't look that bad. Wait are these already shipping??
