Good Day Friends. Take a look at this fun video of Maggie and I catching a few Green Island Bass. It was a good day. A bit Hot but we had fun nonetheless. Enjoy!

Sure had yourself a beauty of a day! Amazing low flying copters too!! A whole section of the Grand Desert Beach just outside of Halifax is permanently closed for possible unexploded ordinance as well...unfortunate as it is one beauty of an area. Maggie sure seems a natural on that boat, not so sure how my Otis would fare as he hates the water! lol Have yourself a great week ahead!

Thank you. Yeah, she is our third Shepard in our life and we have been fortunate that they all loved the boat. Maybe they can sense how calm and happy we are on the water. We enjoyed your video about the parade btw. Nice. Thanks for the comment.

On the way to Burnt Bridge from Green Island, there are a couple of sand bars with formidable drop offs at their tips...a live dew worm with no weight rolling down the steep sand slope off the end often resulted in a very large small mouth... my best was 5 lbs. plus... what a fun battle on 6lb mono. Never kept any as walleye tasted a lot better...ggg

Guess you can't fish Clements Lake anymore for the same reason they closed Green Island.... best bass lake ever... we used to cast a flatfish low over the water and the bass would pick them out of the air.... When the swallows flew low over that lake chasing bugs there would be geysers following the birds from bass trying to pick them off. Tucker Lake on the west side exhibited some formidable splashes once when we were fishing it...Militia firing 105's lol They forgot to close the access gate to Montgomery Road on the park side...father didn't care and wanted to stay and watch the show, but I convinced him to leave as the fishing wasn't anything to brag about.

Thats an awesome story my friend. I fished Tucker a few times in the late 80s. It is a bass factory for sure. Love the comments. Cheers.
