I really liked where at the end you played a sample hand. (Card choices were great too) I was thinking about making the deck, but wasn't sure about it. When I saw you playing it I got more excited and now I decided to make it! Thanks!

Thanks for the upload vex. I've watched this video over 10x while building my ghyrson deck. It would be cool to see you at one of the big events and play against you. Keep up the good work sir.

This is very similar to my Ping deck. One card that you may want to think about including is Caltrops. It's an artifact that deals 1 damage to each attacking creature and since you don't actually attack, it is very one sided in your favor.

With Cinder Pyromancer out. Next turn (for one blue mana) play Banishing Knack. Then repeatedly cast Rograkh 300 times (for zero). Then (for 2 red) Grapeshot everyone and everything to death. Pew! Pew! Pew! All for 3 mana. GG (Empty The Warrens works well too). I want a Han Solo proxy of this.

@@kennyboi01 you're tapping cinder pyro to return rograkh and recast, and then capitalizing with storm (not using cinder pyro's ability to deal dmg)

I build a hybrid of all three themes. Goblins/Spellslinger works well together. Empty the Warrens has Storm and creates two goblins, Pashalik is pretty good at getting value from killing your own goblins with something like Goblin Bombardment or getting more Mana with Phyrexian Altar. and card draw is great with things like Curiosity/Tandem Lookout. Also there are surprisingly alot of pingers that are Goblins.

I love this commander. I run it with Krenko and The Locust God for bodies and token ping.

Nah the land can be replaced with a basic, but the talisman can't be replaced with anything better. This deck needs colors more them most, and your either running a 2 mana colorless rock that dose basically nothing or a 2 mana colorless rick then can get you our colors at a cost if you absolutely need them.

I had the idea to use 1/1 token generators (goblins, devils), and hasty tokens from locust god and the new Ovika from ONE. Add fun cards like Hellrider and goblin bombardment.

Fiery confluence is a bit of a non-bo with Ghyrson. Unless he’s protected somehow, he’ll die after the first instance and the 2nd and 3rd will just do 1 dmg. So confluence would deal a total of 5 dmg to all creatures.

You are correct that Fiery Confluence will kill Ghyrson, however it will still do a total of 9 damage total if the 1 damage creature mode is chosen 3 times. This is because of state-based effects checking for lethal damage after the entire spell has resolved.

@@vex_mtg hey he's right you know. Ghyrson would put the triggers on the stack, but after doing damage to himself, and dying, he's no longer on the board for the second and third instances of damage. so 3 + 1 + 1. Hope this helps!
