Behtareen ghazal Sumanji! Ghulam Ali Sahib ka earlier years mein Gaya hua ye sab ghazal unka asli gayaki ka khasiyat ko bahut sundarta ke sath darshata hai. Sath mein Arshad Sahib ka tabla sangat ka toh koi jawab hi nehi! Sirf tabla sunne ke liye iss ghazal sun sakt hoon. Shukriya Sumanji. Aise hi aap ghazal gayaki ka seva karte rahiye. Sada khush rahiye.

What a marvelous upload of another beautiful version of this heart warming ghazal. Though I have heard this ghazal before also but a live performance always has its own charm ! This live rendition of Ghulam Ali sahab highlights his acumen as a classical singer of high caliber! The multitudinous variety given by G.Ali ji to these captivating lyrics has exalted his singing prowess... Khayaal-o-Khvaab huyi hai.n, mohabbate.n kaisee ...Lahu mein naach rahi hain ye, vahshate.n kaisii.. The very tender poetry penned by Obaidullah Aleem sb, rendered as gently by G.Ali sb, in a very soft and soothing voice. The softness of his voice just diluting in the soul ! Na shab ko chaand hi achchha, na din ko mehr.......Ye hum pe beet rahi hai.n , qayaamate.n ...... Wo saath thaa to, khuda bhi thaa mehrbaa.n kyaa-kyaa...BichhaD gayaa to huyi hain, adavatein kaisee ! And these last soul stirring couplets touch the chords of our heart ! ... Hava ke dosh pe rakhe hue charaagh hain hum...Jo bujh gaye to hava se shikaayate.n kaisee.... Jo be-khabar koyi guzraa to ye sada dii hai...mai sa.ng-e-raah hu.n , mujh pe inaayate.n ...... Pure brilliance in lyrics, vocal and music ! Arshad sb played the tabla so beautifully, just mesmerizing... spell binding performance ! Thanks for informing about the name of the masterly Tabla artist. After listening for almost 45 years I came to know the Tabla artist's name today itself. Only regret is, we can't bring back those days of listening the Maestro on cassette stereo system with friends.

@@nitin1240 my pleasure his name was Ustad Arshad Ali Sahab one of the most underrated Ghazal tablanawaz ever. His sangat was impeccable so was his bayan work and Tayaari he passed away at an early age but was khansahabs best friend and saathi. All of khansahabs music from early 80s to mid 90s was Arshad Sahab and he played in the iconic albums Mehraj eh ghazal and sheeshmahal. It is said Asha ji stopped the recording in “ Dard jab Teri” and said she had never heard such sweet hand ❤️ we will try to discuss about him and share content on my ghazal studio channel.
