When I was in college in 2008 I used to listen this on my nokia N-72 with earphones. I used to roam in college ..sit in library...I was the only one who used to listen to this while others were listening and grooving in item numbers.. I was kinda very introvert. Brings back the lots of memories ❤

Fortunately, this ghazal is in my proud possession in the form of a LP album procured for my stereo record player long back ! Infact, this ghazal has been very close to my heart ever since I have listened to it for the very first time long back ! It has continued to be in my everyday menu till date and will remain so till I breathe ! What a beautiful composition it was ! How soulfully did Ustadjee perform it ! Here, in this ghazal, it was as if the beautiful lafz of the shayar had found its right expression in the majestic voice of Ustad Ghulam Ali Saab with the exact feel, as depicted in the kalam ! Iqbal Razvi Saab deserves appreciation for his immaculate choice of uploads ! --- Amarendra Borah, Former Commissioner and Secretary, Finance Department, Govt Of Assam (India).
