Ghostly bust

In this video, i took an old prop from a couple of years ago and built a new prop to add to it.
This is also my first time using one of those prop controllers.

I like the work you do on the busts, that is an awesome way of combining 2 materials .

looks great... Try programming the blacklights turn on when the ambient light is off... so that the person sees a preview of the alternative image flickering between the ambient light... Another way that this can be done is with a single pole double throw light, Ambient on is the NC side and Black lights on NO side of the relay... of course there's many ways to do it... Arduino comes to mind... but awesome prop... I wish I had one for my display. I'm trying to make a Living Tombstone prop... so I'll have a real mini-me version and it won't have the alternative image... although... hmmmm... Well I'll see how far I get.

I'm thinking about using black light paint on some of my busts, but I don't know how to program lights like you did, so I'm just going to hook up my black light to a Perfect Storm machine.

The picoboo control box i got from Frightprops is very simple to use. This is my first time using one. But in the end, as long as you get the results you are after, that's really what's matters.

That does lool cool but it may look even better if you flash the black light at the same time you you are flashing the regular light, IOW during the flashing process, when the regular light is turning off, turn the black light on and during the instances when the regular light is back on, turn the black light off. This would make the skull appear to be materializing as the light flashes and be fully there when the light is out.
