If you look closely, Egon (Harold Ramis) is mouthing most of the dialogue silently. It makes this teaser even more brilliant.

This teaser would have killed in theatres! What a missed opportunity

I agree. The commercial approach works perfectly, you see the whole original cast is back, and nothing about the plot is spoiled.
