I've lived in two haunted homes . The 1st one had been wood and burnt down after the son of the owner hung himself on the 3rd floor steps after he and his girlfreind had broken up. He was in his early 20's. The farm was sold and the new owner rebuilt in brick. We purchased the brick home and six acres for our horses , I was 10 yrs. old at the time and had 4 siblings . We grew up in that house for 13 yrs. and there were always strange things going on . Even in the barn the horses would see something and you could feel something standing behind you where the horses were looking. Day or night you could hear someone walking around , lights being turned off and on and you would catch something out the corner of your eye when you entered a room. My dad sold the house and land to a developer that was tearing down the house and barns for a new sub- division . We salvaged some things from the home and took them with us . That might have proved to be a mistake because I think the ghost followed us to our old "new" house. He wasn't a mean or bad guy, I just think he liked hanging out with us kids . He was an only child growing up . The "new" old house had a women spirit and she had died in the house from health reasons. Needless to say she was NOT happy with us or the other spirit being there ! Scarey things went on and she would appear at night standing over our bed in a white dress .Very un nerving ! Later the house got hit by lighting and all paranormal activity stopped . It must have opened some kind of exit for both of them . Much later my brothers and sisters told their stories . I thought I was crazy as a kid but even my mom admitted to strange things going on. I love the supernatural but I'd rather visit them in someone elses' house than mine ! Love your videos .

My family moved in to a brick house which was built on the same spot as the same family’s previous Victorian wood home. When they built the new brick home they used doors, bathroom fixtures and other things from the Victorian home. I don’t know if that made any difference or not. It probably would have been haunted anyway. I know one ghost my brother saw was from the Victorian home. I only saw one ghost myself and he was a small boy whom I’d actually known personally. His family had lived in our home prior to us. He was killed in a car wreck, along with his mother snd older brother after they moved away. But we had things happening all the time.

I live in Southern California in a 110 year old house that's been divided up into four separate apartments -- I live on the 2nd floor in a huge one-bedroom and across from my unit is an enormous 3-bedroom. I had lived in the building for almost 7 years and the 3 bedroom across from me became available but not until the owner of the building renovated the kitchen and baths. Girrrllll -- some crazy things happened when all of those workers came into the building and started working on that apartment! When I got home from work in the evenings, the workers were leaving to go home for the evening. When they would all leave, all kinds of strange things happened in my apartment at night during that month that they were there working. Some of my items, little keepsakes came up missing and then reappeared in other parts of my apartment. My living room TV would come on by itself during the night and I would have to turn it off in the morning. I had a voice wake me up in the middle of the night, something yelled "Hey" really loud in my ear! It scared me so much that I got up and turned on every light in the apartment and checked every closet because I really believed someone was in my apartment with me! The voice was very real and very loud! Late in the evenings after I had eaten some dinner and done the dishes (I have to wash them by hand the old fashioned way) and put them away, I would go to my bedroom and get on the computer. While on my computer watching a movie with the sound on, I could hear what sounded like someone doing the dishes. Once I went to my kitchen and turned the light on really fast, but nothing. The sound of dishes being clanked around stopped. But as soon as the work was finished and completed and the workers left, everything went back to normal again. I still live in my apartment. It's a huge place, over 900 square feet! I love my neighborhood and my community. I definitely know for a fact that there are such things as 'spirits' that linger in old houses. The building that I live in was at one time a single family home in a once affluent area. The apartment building is only about a mile and a half from the ocean/the beach. I can walk there. Ghosts are real!

I heard ghosts don't like renovations. I have a story from a real estate agent. She was about to have an open house. She was covering for a friend who was the listing agent and could not make the open house that day. She met with the owner and got a tour of the house. They were in the nursery on the second floor when a child's doll flew off the dresser and landed on the carpet in front of the two people. She said "that's weird". The owner said nothing. It was obvious he was selling the house because it was haunted. So the family left and the open house commenced. Later at the end of the open house the same agent was talking to the last couple taking a tour for the day. They were in the living room talking when the real estate agent could hear voices talking. It got louder and then stopped. The voices started again and the couple asked "do you hear that?" There was no one else in the house. The voices started again like there were several people talking off the living room. It creeped out the couple. Naturally they never put in an offer, and the real estate agent never did another open house for that home.

Several years ago, a friend and I were staying at a B&B in San Antonio Texas that was built in the very early 1900s. I walked up the stairs and looked into a huge mirror and it reflected into one of the upstairs rooms. I stopped on the landing because there was a black man, dressed in what looked like “old farm clothes, “in what would be a sitting room area. I knew the only other couple staying there were white so I was curious. I turned on the landing to go up the second part of the stairs but decided to look into the sitting area first. There was no one there! My friend was very intuitive and when I told her about the experience she discovered that he was a caretaker who lived and worked there back in 1910! This is the first time I have ever seen a disembodied spirit, or ghost, but I am very sensitive to their energy in many places! Tell your sister to embrace her gift! I loved my experience!

I was a paranormal investigator for many years and I have had a lot of experiences. The dinner party sounds that you were talking about sounds like a residual haunting, which is like an event that gets trapped in time and that event will replay itself over and over and over again.

I totally get it - I walked out of the bathroom one morning and inside my husbands office I saw my dead father in law. Not touching the floor but off of it and he was see through also...His clothes were from around the 1950s style. Really dark work jeans and a white t shirt with rolled up sleeves and he was staring straight into my eyes....Later that day I saw an old man dressed in old time mens gentleman older suit and hat walking toward the back kitchen door...All in the same day!! The first video I saw and commented on was Louise, before she was struck by lightening. When I saw her, I was struck by how 'different' she was from other houses I've seen from that era. It wasn't an uneasy feeling, but the whole house gave me pause. I grew up in a 1917 house, and though there was nothing sinister, there were a few interesting experiences I still can't explain. Thanks for the stories - you are adorable!!

Love it!!! I bought a 1925 house that I adored that was haunted. I would here old music playing when I was home alone and they would flicker the kitchen lights when I came home to say hello. I also sold real estate for awhile in the early 2000's. Lots of foreclosures and lots of encounters. I was actually wondering about Willa and wonder if her occupants will come with her after you move her. I got a very strong sense she is haunted from your walk through video. I cant wait to see more. And hopefully Louise's occupants will inhabit Willa when she arrives. Loved these stories. Thank you for sharing! 💖💜💖

Just found you on the Internet and I am so pleased. My husband and I are restored and 1850 old farmhouse cottage in Oakdale California the cowboy capital Oakdale. We are in our 70s and love this unfortunately California has changed so much that we need to get out of here and leave our beautiful old farmhouse🙀 many years ago my daughter and her doctor husband lived in two places in Georgia where my husband and I visited we could see beautiful old Victorian‘s that needed help. We wanted to move to Georgia but unfortunately my daughter and her husband moved back to California. Today we are already to move back Georgia. We have not found the place to move yet but we know it’s time. Unfortunately after five generations here in the San Francisco Bay area it is no longer the place that I remember or want to be. I am ashamed to say that for my relatives who worked so hard to make this home from Germany. Love watching you and your amazing energy

4th generation Colorado native from Denver...the same thing has happened to the Denver metro area as well. My husband and I had to move away four years ago because Denver was not the same place, and has been totally invaded by outsiders. It is overcrowded, too expensive, and most of the newcomers have a totally different mindset than what used to be Coloradoan.

Enjoyed the ghost stores so much! We've lived in our home (an American Foursquare that was built in 1918) for 17 years and have never experienced any paranormal activity even though we know that previous owners have died in the house...guess they have nothing to say? ;) We lived in a very old farmhouse in Connecticut in the late80s/early 90s with a basement that felt like what I can only describe as "uncomfortable". The basement had a packed dirt floor & several rooms which we assumed were used for cold storage (we found old milk bottles & other items there). We used the basement for storage & I would only go down there in the daytime.

I haven’t personally experienced any ghost but my husband’s family has. When he was around 6 yrs old his family rented a house in Fredericksburg Virginia. It had been added onto over the years. The original part of the house was once used as an army hospital during the civil war. My husband’s grandma whom was very religious told me several times about seeing an evil spirit in that part of the home. She said every time she would go up the stairs that on the third step something would grab her leg. She would call out the name of Jesus and it would let go. She saw the demon sitting on her son’s chest one night choking him while he slept. My husband can’t remember exactly what he saw one day but he remembered being so scared that he wedged himself behind the toilet trying to hide from it. So much went on that they finally after about 4 months moved away. We have been married 32 years and every time someone in his family tells anything about that house it is always the same, they never have added or left any details out. I once read a book that someone wrote on haunted houses in that town and it was one of the homes in the book. The owner had a hard time keeping it rented out.

Houses and physical objects hold residual energy of previous times and people that can be detected and felt. Some see images of previous times, events and people relating to who lived there before. Even words and conversations are tangible and stored and can be picked up on. Spirit is not in physical form but still existing. We are spirit within a physical body, just energy. So depending on your perspective of metaphysical phenomena anything is possible. As we self develop we can become more psychically aware and when we become more open to developing this ability will continue to gain more understanding and experience in the process. You sense through your sensory perception, sound, touch, sight, vision, taste, smell, third eye activation and knowingness. Some of the houses I have lived in I tend to get information of past occupants in layers from the last to the first and if someone has died in the house this is prominent. Twice I have had warnings in 2 houses where someone has died that have saved me, one from intruders prior to them arriving with a nagging to close doors and windows when I had just painted and was trying to air the house. Another I woke from sleep, opened my eyes and saw my door open slowly revealing my ex and saw the anger on his face. I froze, could not speak or move my body. I saw the door panelling was different but knew I was not dreaming, I could see him tangibly, my eyes were open. When I lived in this house I had a few similar visions waking me from sleep and seeing this person and his anger towards me, I felt he wanted to kill me. A couple of years later he did become violent towards me and kept threatening to kill me over 3 years. I had a complete separation from him and friends by moving to a different location. Fifteen years later he shot himself when he had terminal cancer at 39. As a designer I am used to seeing a vision of what I am designing, drawing on different parts of the brain, experience to create, the process is a flow experience. A whole brain experience. Psychic experience is also a flow, whole brain experience involving our sensory processes. When you consider we only use a small fraction of our brains intelligence and capabilities and look at the scale of human evolution such as Maslow's theory, psychic development is in the upper peak of the triangle. I had a dream of Jesus and he kissed my cheek when I was younger. It felt so real. My friends laughted and said that must be why I was glowing. Developing intuition is a process that is developed by not dismissing your insight or experience and learning to differentiate between imagination and knowingness/guidance (higher self and spirit). Hope, trust and faith are also developed along the way.

I plan to smudge this home because we have extensive work to be done. My husband jokingly said it would be ok if it did have something. I believe there are reasons why spirits are earthbound and I want them to know their ho e is is safe hands and they can leave. My cousin can see spirits in photographs so I told him, p.ease don't tell me if you see someone in mine.

But I think they finally got used to us. One house we just could not keep. The basement was not a happy place to say the least and the unhappiness would creep up at night. So no, you are absolutely right,. This was another great video. I am new to your channel and loving every minute of it. Keep up the good work and thanks again!!

The prior residents do leave their essence. Cause the house absorbs their energies over the years, either good or bad, and can release these vibes, just like how when it rains all day, the dampness/humidity can make a house releases old cigar smells in a lounge chair, or old dog odors where they used to always lay on a floor. I believe so much that houses can hold on to the dominant energy. Happy family -good vibes, sad broken family whose arguing or yelling 11 months out of 12, is will equal a dim depressed vibe even on a sunny day. Sage, sage, sage. Just my opinion! Love these vids!

I live in a 1901 haunted Victorian house that was built by the original wealthy owner. He lived here for 38 years (from 1902 to 1940) before he passed. I believe he is still here and no matter how many times this home changes hands, it will always belong to him. I feel like I am just the custodian. He is a very benevolent spirit but he does love to play pranks and take my things. My glasses vanished years ago and I've never been able to recover them. Little things disappear all the time and no matter how much I search, I never find them again. I don't mind living with a kind spirit. If ever I had to live with a demonic one, I'd vacate immediately, money or not.

I’m sure this is a older video n you spoke about the Louise house. I do remember watching the video on it when you had a tour. I’m sure your heart was truly broken when lightning hit it n the back end of the house was destroyed. In fact the house is not salvageable. It was a grand lady , so beautiful n I know my heart felt some pain when I watched the video of you n Kevin sharing what had happened. I’m truly enjoying you n Kevin’s channel in saving these beautiful homes. ♥️♥️😊👍👍

I LOVE that you address this topic!! Agree with you- believe in part of the supernatural, then believe in the WHOLE of the supernatural. There’s THE HOLY ghost, and then there are just ghosts. Ya don’t get to pick and choose or pretend one exists and the other doesn’t. It annoys me when people ignore ‘ghosts’ and other things. It’s real. It happens. I don’t claim to know the why of it, only that it’s a real thing that occurs to people. I grew upon an old farmhouse close to the Gettysburg battlefields. We had stuff happen every now and then very similar to your experiences you talk about here. My sister saw a ghost girl in her bedroom once, and years later I saw a tall man walking by a doorway. A guest also saw a man looking like someone dressed from the tv show Little House on the Prairie walking around outside, and when my parents first bought the home they heard footsteps up the stairway. Anyway, lots more ghostly events to share but won’t go into it. It’s actually not scary..it’s unnerving and surprising, but more weird, as in, confusing and trying to come to an understanding of what was just experienced. Nothing has ever been hostile, which some people do have. That would be scary!

Sitting here reading every comment after just finding this video. Ooooo! You grew up in my favorite place. Been there several times, and feel like I've come home and almost cry. 2nd time I took my oldest, he was 5. Years later after watching a Mark Nesbitt haunted Gettysburg, my son confessed he'd seen a ghost at devils den. Fwd. Next visit after a ghost tour, w my kids, we held back and I had my son tell the guide his experience. She did skip a beat, says oh, yes, that's who we refer to as the Texan. Well bowl me over!

I lived in a haunted house in High Point, NC. It was built in the early 60's, I think. You could hear murmured conversations between 2 people in several of the rooms. This was in the mid 70's. Had a really weird occurrence in the kitchen. In the kitchen one morning and heard the distinct sound of a 6 sided pencil rolling across the floor. Looked all over, but saw nothing. I even went through the pantry, nothing. The sound went back and forth for at least 10 minutes. I even went downstairs and looked up in the dropped ceiling to see if something was causing it-again, nothing. But the absolute best/worst was the afternoon I was sitting on the front porch, waiting for a friend to pick me up. We were going to the Greensboro Coliseum to see Led Zeppelin. The house was locked up and no one inside. I felt someone watching me. I turned to my right and looked at the living room windows. I saw an arm, holding the drapes back. Oddly, not from the center, but from the side of the window. Stupid me jumped up and unlocked the front door. There were double doors to the living room. I opened them and looked in. NOTHING!!! After hearing some of this, my best friend wouldn't come inside. LOL. My father lived there until 1995, and swore he never saw or heard anything.

So...did James fall down the stairs and die?? Is that why he's giving you the warning to be careful on the stairs? Makes you wonder! I'm a total believer. I was part of a paranormal group and have also done investigations with my sister and a friend of ours and we've gotten some good evps over the years. We actually had a creepy voiced ghost follow us from one haunted location to another one. I got the same voice in evps at both locations on the same night...which was weird! My husband is like your husband though. He tends not to be much of a believer in the supernatural although I have played him evps on my recorder that he could plainly hear and had no explanation for. My dad also lived in a haunted house and refused to believe it was haunted even though there were so many weird things going on! LOL!

I’ve not really felt much in our new-old home, other than when I opened one small closet I immediately got spooked- for seemingly no reason- and have refused to open that door since. He has seen several things and I ask him not to tell me. I don’t want him spooking me out of loving this beauty of a home. Haha. Also- I was raised in Nassau County Florida, so when you mentioned you’d bought a home there I geeked! Please tell me it’s in the downtown historic area next to Bretts restaurant and so on?

That house I mentioned, built in 1803 (a comment in a Louise video) was haunted. The house I later bought as an adult in Lawrenceville, Ga was as well. My dad commented on a man walking in the guest bedroom in the middle of the night once. Then later my daughter was about 3, and I'd run into the house, put her down in the hall, and ran to the bathroom. I'd not turned on any lights except the bathroom light, but I have night lights everywhere. My daughter comes into the bathroom as I sitting, and says, "Mommy, there is a man in the hall." I panicked! Vulnerable position, etc... Grabbed my daughter and into the bathroom with me, shut and locked the door. Afterwards went out and no "person" but a spot in the hall was freezing (in mid summer). I asked the entity to please leave, as it was my house now. I did find out later that mine and several other lots had been part of an old farmstead, and the man had died there. Well, being Wiccan, I did that "who-do-that-I-do" to nudge him on his way and protect the house. From then on, we only had passed pets visiting occasionally. (Yeah, my dad had seen one of my passed cats... head, tail and feet... wander through the house. My sister and several other people saw the same cat too, at various times.)

Elaine, this second sight that you speak of is part of my family's heritage! My grandmother was a so-called gifted woman, as was my mother! I, and my daughter, granddaughter, and one of my grandsons have this intuitive ability! We know from so many interactions that it is something to it! I get " out of the blue " feelings about family, and random people that have even labeled me a witch, which of course I am not, but it's like you say woobatie! We choose the same colors of dress, of foods, etc. The only bad thing is that it's nothing that you could pick lottery numbers from, or for any self-gain! We really don't know how to use this God-given gift! I know that I am sensitive, and empath, even as far as sensing someone with the dreaded disease of cancer! I hate it, if it could be beneficial to someone then I would not hate it so much! However, it does not work like that! Only worry, and sleepless nights are all that I get! So let it be written, let it be done! I just love your personality, it's so uplifting and genuine! Keep up your aura! Many blessings!

I have to ask if your sister heard from James after Louise burned down. It would be interesting to know his thoughts and concerns at this point about his garden. And I loved your ghost stories. My only experiences have to do with a couple of pets I had: I heard my budgie in her cage but she had died and buried at that point, so maybe her memory sounds were ingrained into my apartment and I heard it one afternoon. I once saw my cat after he had passed on also (he was very attached to me) but that was a brief goodbye and touched me.
