I agree!! I've only seen them at night, but the music and show translate better when its dark. Then again I'll see them anytime I can! I am 50 years old and haven't been this excited about a band since I was 12 getting into KISS! To all past and present members of GHOST,,,,,,,,,THANK YOU! You guys ROCK!

1620 AM RADIO RED HORSE RADIO It Was WAY more cooler when they got on so it probably wasnt as bad

One of the few groups in recent times that sound as good live as they do on album.

My favorite New band...And I'm 60

I just realized how much different Tobias sings when he's in character as Papa and when he's in character as Cardinal,it's subtle differences but you can hear them

All of the Ghost players have been excellent. But I'm very pleased by what I see of this group. The drummer is nailing it and Papa is singing better than ever. Ghost is a little more aggressive now.

Iron Maiden made a wise pick last year. These guys blew my mind.

A Memer tobias was not the visionary it was the nameless ghouls please reasearch and watch interview it is all explained there tobies wrote only the melody of the vocals. The ghouls wrote the lyrics and music.

Eric Nyenhuis Kamelot Had WAY Too many technical problems and just didnt perform that well. while exodus had 2 or 3 circle pits going

A shame it was during the day, that stage is meant to be lit at night. Cool performance, however.

at least they got an almost perfect sound... previous bands (Exodus and kamelot) had a lot of sound problems... ghost was amazing!

sonnic1995 I second that exodus was turned down to almost nothing then kamelot was a shit load of mistakes with the sound but ghost and iron maiden were great i was lucky to get pit passes

pretty much the same thing but the fact it was indoors gave us the dark ambiance that you wanted.

This makes me so nostalgic, a week after this show they came to my city where I got to see them and hear their music for the first time, without any background knowledge of their act at all Era III will always have a special place in my heart

Saw the show last in SLC UT....105dg outside. My heart goes out the band wearing these costumes. Great show.

Oh damn, that must have been miserable for the fans and bands alike. I've been to a show that was in the high 90s at night and I could barely stand after a while. Can't imagine what it must be like when it's hotter and for the performers.

I saw Maiden in PA in 2012 (and again this year) and it was about that too, somewhere around 103-110. Bruce wrung out his shirt and it looked like a water bottle lol. It's somewhere on YT, 6/29/12 was the date.

These 2 songs back to back did it for me!! Hooked on Ghost!

I went into this last maiden show ( my third) expecting ghost to be kind of shitty and skipable, boy was i wrong, im diggin on it. Im glad maiden brought ghost out with them

i saw them on this tour a few days ago and i absolutely loved them! one of the tightest and in sync live bands ive ever seen. cant wait to see them even more

Seen them live a few days later in St. Louis opening for Maiden. GREAT show and GREAT sound! New favorite band! (besides Maiden that is). Buying their CDs for sure!

Lizardgun1 I saw Ghost and Maiden here in Dallas last week. Maiden has been my alltime favorite band since the early 80s but I can honestly say that although I knew Ghost was the opening act, I preferred that it had been the other way around. As short as their set was, I enjoyed Ghost more. Maiden wasn't any LESS awesome than ever and I loved them (with the exception of Janick) just as much as ever.....its just that Ghost was ...."more". Here's to you getting a chance to seeing them sometime bro!

Great post. I saw them at the Oakland show on 7/5 without having had heard them before. Loved it.

I had heard Ghost playing over the comms at the end of a Diamond Head show last fall at the Whiskey ( at least I think it was last Fall, might have been Jan. idk). Anyhow this show was the first time I had heard Square Hammer and I was completely blown away. Thanks for posting this!

Glam Rock at its finest! A lot of melody with a TON of punch, kicking maximum ass! KISS mixed with Alice Cooper.
